"This is a good value. The stock tailgate cap would not let the tonneau cover close correctly and having the Line-X bed liner extended a few inches was $125.
One other customer mentioned that you need to reconfigure the molding tape to get the cap to snug down and cover the screw mounts, this is true plus a bit more mounting tape won't hurt. This cap is cheap enough that I can toss it and get the liner extended later if it does not work out but so far it fits in nicely as far as appearance and is solid and functional."

"The Bushwacker TailGate Cap looks very good and is very good quality, but does not include enough double sided tape for installation. Once you buy the tape so it will hold down in all areas, it looks great."

"The smoothback Bushwacker Tailgate Cap was a snap to install (under 10 minutes). It fits great and looks really good. The price was reasonable and shipping time was super fast. I do have one suggestion and that would be to make the inside of the cap a little longer, even a half inch, to extend further down the tailgate on the inside of the bed. Other than that, it's a super after market product. It hid existing dings/scratches and hopefully will prevent any new ones, since I load and unload my wheeler a dozen times a month.

"I bought the tailgate cap to cover up where a camper shell had rubbed the paint. The cap was so easy to install and improved the looks so well that I bought the rails for the bed also. Easy to install and makes my silver truck look a lot better."
