Description

Jet's Dynamic Spectrum Tuning (DST) optimizes air/fuel ratio, spark timing, transmission tuning and various other parameters for maximum horsepower and torque.

Jet offers their Performance Module in two styles for most vehicles: Stage 1, for original stock engines; and Stage 2, for the modified motor with performance air intakes, headers or exhaust systems already installed. Even on souped-up engines, The Jet Module adds serious horsepower to your driving (see Related Images for vehicle-specific gains).

Notes

  • Please see Related Images (above) for your vehicle-specific horsepower gains.
  • Axle codes are located on white decal in glove box - only required for certain GM trucks.
  • Stage I or Stage II may not be available for all makes and models. Please select your vehicle to determine availability.
  • Jet suggests using 91 or 93 octane gasoline to achieve stated maximum power gains with the Performance Module.
  • Flex Fuel Vehicles: fueling with E85 is not recommended in conjunction with your Jet unit. Burning E85 reduces efficiency and power compared to using gas, which nullifies the effect of Jet's programming.

"I was unsure of what to expect from this upgrade. I have a 2008 F150 with 4.6L gas, pulling a 21' MVP RV Coast Travel Trailer. I went on an 11 day trip without the chip and a 4 day trip with it. I noticed better gas mileage, more power on some of the long up hill climbs the truch did not down shift but stayed in drive the whole time I got about 1.3 to 1.5 mpg boost. So with the cost differance in gas price I was a little ahead of it and with the power boost I am way ahead of it now. I would say with if you just want to Plug and Play this is a great chip for the money!"

"instalation was a snap with a noticeable change in performance of course a cold air intake and headers with duel pipes make all the diffrence. i wouldnt wait if i were you"

"Truck preformed quicker with the chip. Next day after installation I drove my F150 20 miles no problem. I stopped at a store and when I came back out the truck would not start. I pulled the chip and haved reinstalled yet. I'm going to clean the contacts and try again. MJ "

"really does work dont know if it saves in gas but it does add some hp. Only thing i dont like is you have to use a higher grade of gas to feel the difference, but overall i love the product and its even better paired up with the k&n intake."

"I got the chip in; it was very easy to install. It took about 15mins to get the chip in place. I took the the truck out and I could difference instantly. I was surprised with the horse power gain and the drop in fuel consumption. Over all i am very happy with this product; i thinking about getting this product for my other vehicles."

"It is hard to find anything to help out a 2.2 S10 and this is one of the few items out there. Once it was put on I could tell a huge difference in just the way the motor ran. Acceleration was quicker and smother, and I found I need to set the cruse just to go around town. I have done some mods to my truck and this just puts the icing on the cake!! This is a must- have for anyone with a 2.2, it’s also the only module out there!"
