However, I disliked having to clean and re-oil the media as it almost always ended up too wet after I applied the oil. This aFe filter has been a revelation! It fit perfectly in my QX4's air box and gave the confidence-inspiring off the line improvement I was looking for, while the maintenance will be far easier as it performs it's duties. Haven't done a comparison on the gas savings yet, but with the familiar performance to my previous high quality filters I expect a 1-2 mpg improvement on the highway.
