"Search long and hard for a CAI.
This is the Dog. Makes the turbo wine loader and throttle response is much better. I have a 98 Dodge Ram 4x4 Cummins with 150,000 miles."

"Thankfully installation was easy because instructions were some what vague. You notice the engine is breathing easier, but horsepower gains are harder to determine. Also, too early to tell if MPG has improved. Still, I am please with the product and have no regrets."

"I am pleased with the AEM Brute Force, I used on my 03 Suburban 5.3. It's appearance, Quality of fit, components were excellent. It sounds great, It seems to pull harder, has more power. but at this point, I've had it on for 2 weeks, It is getting less Avg. mielage, dropped by 1 to 1&1/2 MPG. I have been carefull to keep my foot into the throttle the same, even less, but my DIM says it's less MPG??? Disappointed with that factor. Otherwise I like the unit. Took 1/2 hr. to install."

"I have been hunting for a good air intake system for my 5.7 liter Hemi Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. 2005 for a long time. Thought I had to have a K & N. Wrong. I found the AEM Brute Force unit and decided to try it. Sure am glad I did.
Install was simple in about 20 minutes. Fit and finish is great. Not sure yet about MPG and power. We'll see when I get the Hypertech programmer and dual Flowmaster exhaust on it next week. A Good Product !"

"The intake operates as expected. It gives the truck a more aggressive sound on high rpms yet still sounds normal during calm driving. I feel a difference in the performance. Acceleration is better ad if you drive conservatively i do see a slight increase in mpg on highway. It seems like mpg on local driving might have actually gone down."

High altitude improvement !!!!!

"2005 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 liter. Stock 30" tires and exhaust. I live in central Oregon at about 4200'.
Pros: easy install, improves sound of engine even with stock exhaust, quicker throttle response, better price than 3 other websites.
Cons: zip tie - how long will that last?, what to do with sensor that pluggs into stock intake, what to do with ridiculous stock intake.
Haven't run but 1 tank of gas thru it but seems like mileage may be slightly higher. You can really hear the engine gulping in the thin air now. Much better throttle response than with stock intake. The 4.0 liter engine has a little life now. Should be even better with headers and exhaust system.
Any Jeep owner who lives in higher altitude areas should give this system a try. Worth the money even if mileage improvement is at a minimum."

"The Actual Intake Once installed is Awsome but If your installing it on a 3rd Generation Dodge Ram the installation is a Major Pain ! But Once installed it is well worth it. Only downside is the filter tends to want to rub the heatshield on the underside."

"My 13 year-old son installed this under my supervision. Easy as pie to install. Performance was instantly improved across the board. Couple this addition with a cat-back exhaust system and computer chip modification and Toyota Tundra became a "hot rod". Power improvements and gas mileage improvements were very surprising."
