"It was time to replace the air filter in my 1998 V70R and I figured it was worth a bit more money to get a quality and respected air filter that would last the rest of the life of the vehicle rather than replacing a paper filter continuously. I have not noticed a huge performance or fuel economy increase yet but I haven't done any spirited driving or measured my fuel economy yet. The installation was a breeze - it took all of about 1 or 2 minutes to drop into the air box. I have a feeling this will be a good investment over the lifetime of the vehicle just in air filter savings alone. More power and better fuel economy as claimed by K&N would just be an added bonus..."

"My 2004 Ford Explorer has the 4.0L V6 flex fuel engine. I've gone through 2 Motorcraft air filters in 40k miles. Decided it was time for a K&N and I wish I had done so sooner. P/N 33-2207 fits perfectly and was easy to install. The supplied gasket fits on nicely and prevents any air from short-circuiting around the filter through the airbox lid. The K&N filter is also thinner than the stock filter, providing for more volume of air in the airbox."

"I installed a K & N air filter in my 1987 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper and I have been extremely happy with the performance gains. I have gained on average 3-4 mpg and I notice an increase in acceleration using this filter. I highly recommend them.""

"This filter is such a great investment. In the time you would have bought 2 or 3 new disposable filters this filter will have paid for itself. Not to mention I am getting about 1-3 more mpg's since I installed it and slightly noticable gains in acceleration. I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 V6 and I have put one in all 3 of the tacomas have owned in the past and have never had anything negative to say about their performance."

"The filter was a perfect fit - installation a breeze. I did not even have to change into "work" clothes to do the installation. The quality is great on these - I have been using K&N filters for over 20 years on all my cars."

"Easy to install, direct fit with no modification. Overall my car is more responsive in shifting thru the gears. Haven't had enough driving time to get a good mileage reading. I like the "Last filter you need to buy", it not only saves energy but it reduces waste. I'm sold on K&N filters!"

"I think I'm am already getting a slight but noticable performance increase, and expect gas to improve at least a little. But those are really only "extras." I'm saving money on air filters! Saving twelve dollars for a regular filter about every 15,ooo miles will pay for the K&N very quickly and then save me money for the life of the car. I've already ordered filters for my fun cars."

"with new k&n filter and oil change to moble 1, mpg was up from 47.9 to 57.7 with gas at $4.38 a gal for reg it was money well spent thank you!!!!!"

"The K&N filter made a difference in my Subaru Outback's performance and about one mile per gallon increase after only a couple of tanks after installation. You can hear and feel the difference. Well worth the expense."

"The car has better response to throttle. Haven't had it in long enough to finish checking any improvements in fuel economy. Even a little bit is nice. Very happy and would recommend."

"I have bought a K & N for all my vehicles and they have always performed great. The newest one I got was for my Prius. I haven't yet been able to tell if it has increased my mileage because of the way a Prius works. I have been running in the 53 to 54 MPG range so it will be interesting if it improves."

"I've used several of K&N's panel filters in different cars. They are very durable and easy to clean. What I like most about them is the improved performance and eliminating the need to perform maintenance (replacements) on the air filter as often. With today's gas prices, even a very small mpg improvement will cover the cost of this filter, in my opinion it is well worth it."

"I just the short time I have had the filter installed I've noticed a slight improvement in engine responsiveness but the real gain has been in mileage gains. I'm now seeing a 1-2 MPG increase in overall fuel economy. At $4 per gallon the filter will pay for itself in 3-4 fill-ups, after that it's all savings to me. Now that's something I can't rave enough about!"

"Thus far I have not experienced a noteable increase or decrease in fuel consumption. Power is harder to determine, it does seem to have improved power. Overall I am not convinced the investment has been a wise one."
