"I was impressed how well-made the filter and frame is! My mpg while running 10% ethanol fuel through Illinois was better than my car usually runs on ethanol (I usually barely get 24 mpg and I was getting 27, which is still a drop from my usual 29, but not as bad). I haven't driven enough on the regular mix to see what my mpg will be with this filter, but I was impressed so far!"

Great Bang For The Buck

"As expected the K&N filter perfectly fit the OEM air box of my '07 Accord EX-L 6spd V6. Additionally, the car seems to accelerate a bit more briskly. While the filter is excellent quality, it is not quite as nice as an AFE filter. However, at half the price of an AFE, I am more than satisfied!"

"I recenly purchased a K&N cold air intake for my ford ranger, and was totally blown away by the performance gain. So I decided to try just the filters on my wife & daughters cars and again I'm blown away. Holy@#$&! You can feel the difference immediatly. I highly recommend them, they are so worth the money!"

"I have used K&N Air filters in all of my vehicles for many years now. They are "hands-down" a sound investment for your car. In every case, my mileage has increased at least 1-2 mpg, as well as the fact that the car is more responsive, since these filters bring out the best in your engine my maximizing air flow. Also, cleaning these filters (at around 50,000 miles)is a simple and painless task. Simply wash them out with soap and water, let them dry, and spray with K&N recharger oil. There is no question in my mind, these are the very best air filters money can buy."

"I have been changing out my original air filters with K&N OEM style for the last 10 years. I have had 4 Chevy Malibu's 1998(S),2001(LS), 2003(LS) and my current 2006(SS). I have never been disappointed with the performance improvement and the gas milage gain although minimal is still better than stock. I do wish K&N would make more FIPK kits for a broader range of cars. I would be first in line if they made one for my car."

"I frankly have not had this product for longer than a few weeks so I cannot agree or disagree with some of the comments I have read in various automobile forum sites. Most people complained about oil getting into their MAF sensors after the 1st clean and re-oiling. Well, I guess time will tell for my application. But having read all these negative aspects of the oil contaminating the MAF and what not, I would re-consider purchasing this product in the future. Perhaps, I will go with the oil-free filters such as AEM or AFE products. They are about comparably priced also, I hear."

K&N for my Town Car

"Wow, what a difference? My car has energy and pick-up. Just came back from a trip to Florida from Atlanta and the car averaged 24.3 mpg as compared to a previous best of 22.5 mpg. This is my third vehicle that I added this filter and each time had marked improvements to gas mileage and performance."

"I've put K&N air filters on four vehicles so far. It always makes them perform better. It was most noticable on my wife's SHO with auto that never was close to my 5 speed SHO. It actually broke the tires while rolling in 1st gear by just punching it. It had never done that before."

"Works fine, but mileage decreased. There seems to be a little more power, but not worth the money, because even though there is no changing, you still have to service the filter which is not cheap."

Fits perfectly; not sure about results

"Since it started getting cold right around the time that I installed the filter, I cannot be sure about any mileage improvements. The mileage actually seemed to drop, but that could very well be due to the lower temperature or other driving factors. The old filter was dirty (even had twigs in it) so it needed to be replaced anyway. The fact that the K&N never needs to be replaced (and that I already have cleaning solution) was reason enough to buy it. The filter seems well constructed and fits perfectly in the Prius airbox."

"I've had experiences before with intakes in the past and K&N definitely does it in terms of better mileage and engine response. Also makes the engine run a lot more efficiently without sluggishness."
