"I first became acquainted with K & N air filters when I put one on my Harley Davidson 1200XL Sportster. Was part of the package of upgraded exhaust and re-jetting carb. Could definitely tell the difference in performance. Just bought a GMC Sierra 2500HD with the 6.0 V-8. Since I'm going to tow a fifth wheel trailer, looking for anything that will improve acceleration and gas mileage. Installing K & N was a step in the right direction. Looking to add additional k & N products with will improve performance."

"The filter is giving my jeep 1.3 liter a boost of life more top in power responce and fuel economy every thing it says it does also im running a little cooler to i have three vehicles 05 colorado 87 suzuki samari 83 yamaha seca 900 street sport bike always been impressed on the K&N air filter thanks!"

Extremely bad fit for 3rd generation Mazda MX-5 (Miata)

"I have had several different makes and models of cars that I have installed K&N filters for. Unfortunately, the K&N air filter for the 3rd generation Mazda Miatas (2006-current) does not live up to expectations. It is extremely difficult to set the filter properly. Even when the filter is set in the correct position, the air box does not want to close. Comparing a K&N to a dealer air filter, with the dealer filter it is drop and snap, with the K&N it is muscle, force and then work the clamps so tight you worry about fracturing the air box. Now once it is set, I will say that it seems to function normally, and you do get a nominal performance increase. To sum up: it is a good thing you don't have to clean the K&N for another 50k, because I really am not looking forward to dealing with the air box again."

"I installed this in my 2004 Ranger 4 Cylinder Pickup, it has really made a difference. The acceleration & fuel economy are better. Seems to really make a difference on high reving engines."

"You can definitely notice the increase in power with less engine effort after installing a K&N filter. Just recently installed on a 2006 Tacoma and have it installed on all my vehicles."

"after receiving my air filter ,i wanted to install it right away ,installation was easy ,since putting it in i have driven 300 miles or so and without a doubt i notice increased throttle response and have been getting better gas mileage .most definitely worth the money."

"I have K&N air filters in all my vehicles and swear by them. If you drive 15,000 miles or less per year(depending driving/climate conditions), you only need to maintain them once a year I've found. Heavier driving requires two or more cleanings. Checking for larger particulates like leaves, seed pods, larger insects, etc. should be done to keep air flow maximized depending on the seasons and where you live and/or drive. I've seen small gains in MPG with stock intake and exhaust systems; with larger gains when mated with aftermarket high performance, free-flow exhaust systems! And the most obvious benefit is that your K&N filter is good for the life of your car! The savings in air filter expenditures over the years, especially if you keep your cars longer than ten years, like I do, will really add up!"

"K & N filter is a great product, its constuction is very durable.Since I replaced the filter & spark plugs, I monitored the gas mileage, it improves by 2 miles. I would recommend it to every one."

"I have put K&N filters in several other cars I have owned and barely noticed a difference. However, the effect it had on my Ford Fusion was fantastic. The engine note is completly different under acceleration....love it love it love it."

"I am very happy with my purchase. After installing this air filter, I took a 32 mile round trip, (highway miles, and according to the trip computer, my gas mileage increased from 25 to 27 mpg. This was installed in my wifes car, and she'll let me know at the end of the week how good it really is."

"I purchased my K&N air filter for under $40 and I had it installed in less than 15min. This is the best upgrade I've ever experienced in any vehicle. This is my second filter and second car and I'll never own a car without a K&N filter. That would just be nuts!"
