"If any one else has had a hesitation problem at steady speeds with the larger engine TL, you might try the K @ N air filter as it seemed to cure the problem. This might be related to the need for more air in the 3.5 engine."

"According to K&N they do not make a filter for a 2009 Ford Focus. When you look a Fram etc they use the same filter for 2008 and 2009, so you can use a 2008 K&N Filter for your 2009 Ford Focus. The gasket fit tight but it went on ok and works with no problems."

"I have switched to K & N Air Filters on all family vehicles, and I have several friends who have done the same. Vehicle performance and gas mileage definitely improves. I would recommend K & N products to everyone! It's a no-brainer."

"I bought my first filter several months ago. I put the filter in & was amazed at the extra pep the car had. I also got better gas mileage. I was so impressed with my first filter that I bought 3 more filters for all of my cars! The price for a K&N filter is about twice as a auto store cardboard filter, but it gives you more pep, better mileage & lasts so much longer that it pays for itself!"

"Although I haven't noticed much of an improvement in mileage nor power (maybe a little but I am driving a Soul after all and not a V8...)I'm just happy to have the quality and peace of mind that a K&N filter brings."

"easy to install, and has a slight increase in performance. We haven't taken a trip yet, so no idea about gas mileage yet. I didn't expect a real difference in performance though...it is a Honda Odyssey minivan."

"I purchased a K&N filter for my new 2010 Genesis Coupe, because K&N was the first company to offer a performance filter for this car. A replacement cold air intake with cone filter was an option, but for $280, I passed on that! I could immediately hear the sound of air sucking into the intake, after installing the K&N and starting the engine (probably a good sign!). Can't feel a performance difference, but I suspect it's giving me 2-3HP or so, if I were to dyno test my car. It'll be worthwhile just to save money on filters though, over the years."

"I installed this filter a little over a month ago in my Volvo XC60. The car has a much better throttle response and a throatier sound. An overall good deal if you want to keep the engine bay stock."

"The filter was easily installed in less than a few minutes. A small performance increase was noticed on acceleration. Fuel mileage also seemed to increase about 2-3 MPG. Overall, it was worth paying premium price for a filter that will last the life of the car."
