"I purchased a regular replacemnet filter for my acura. It was very easy to install and fitted perfectly. Although it has been less than a month, I have not seen an improvemnt on MPG.(I guess I have been testing its performance more than anything). I can say it is a good quality product."

"These weren't my first K&N filters and won't be my last. Throttle response is noticeably quicker now. I haven't had a chance to compare gas mileage yet, but the other ones I've purchased in the past have had a slight benefit but every bit counts."

"I tried the K&N filter on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee only because a friend told me how great they were. I am usually very sceptical about anything that claims to enhance an automobile's performance. My scepticism went away the instant I started the motor after installation, which was very easy. The motor roared to life with a different sound, the Jeep practically leaped out of its skin, and we were away with gusto. I haven't had the filter installed very long, but so far I can tell you that it is a great product on all accounts."

"My Xscape 4-cyl with a 5-speed could feel the power response from the momrny I dropped in the cartridge. Too early to tell if I have picked up any net gain in MPG, but it couldn't have hurt it any."

"Buying this filter was definately worth the price. The average mpg went up immediately! The price is higher than regular air filters, but will pay for itself in just a year. Considering that the filter has a lifetime guarantee, the K&N filter is an investment that can only pay out."

"I've used K&N air filters in all of my vehicles over the past 25 years. On some vehicles the K&N made a difference, on others it didn't. However, K&N filters are, consistently, high quality and I never have to worry about an air, or oil filter, failing. A continued great product for any vehicle user."

"I have used them for almost 20 yrs. They are very cost effective. THe gas milage may have improved by 1/2 MPG. I believe that they filter the air much better then paper."

"I have put a new K&N in every new vehicle that I have had for the last 5 vehicles. This time my wife & I bought a new HHR for each of us; and I put the K&N's in them both. We have seen an increase in mileage with a slight improvement in performance. As always, K&N has lived up to expectations!"

"Figure one spends $40 on a K&N airfilter, but if you figure, they are reusable and allow more airflow to your engine. On an economical stand point they are worth the money, plus at the back of your mind you have the feeling that you are saving gas and are using the airflow to your advantage. Personally i recommend the whole intake system, not just the filter-for bigger engines they actually work."

"K&N air filters are the best on the market. Saves a lot of money in the long run. They are not that expensive up front and can save you from purchasing multiple "regular" filters, because K&N filters come with an amazing Million-Mile-Warranty. I have an '04 Honda Accord Coupe V6 and you can definitely feel the difference in performance over a stock filter. If you're thinking about buying a K&N filter, go ahead, you won't regret it!"

"The air filter fits really tight, which is a good thing. I tried several times, to install air filter, unsuccessfully, until I finally used the tube of lubricant, which is included in shipping box. I haven't had a chance to drive my truck any distance, yet, to see if the fuel economy or overall performance is going to improve. My truck is a 2008 Chevy Silverado HD3500, 6.6 duramax diesel, crew cab, 8 foot box, 4 wheel drive, dually."

"IU have only had my filter for about two weeks. I have not had a chance to check the gas millage or towing improvements, however the cost of a life time filter well pays for itself in about a year."

"It's a bit difficult for me to assess the difference in performance and economy since I am retired and do not commute on a daily basis. I do drive between upstate New York and central North Carolina once per month. 640 miles, one way. Of course, weather and traffic conditions vary, so comparisons, trip-to-trip are a challenge. I have, however, noticed that with the A/C off at highway speeds fuel mileage appears to have improved by one or two miles per gallon. Acceleration, particularly under full throttle, feels stronger. I'm sufficiently convinced of the K&N filter's value that I will be ordering one for my wife's CTS very soon."

"The filter installation was very easy. I now get better off the line throttle response and improved mph by abount 1 mpg. I was more interested in improved off the line throttle response than fuel improvement. Debated on CAI upgrade but decided on a K&N filter to see if I could see any difference. I am satisfied with my decision since I'm not so interested in high performance upgrades but wanted some better stop & go response. The air flow increase from K&N vs OEM filter was enough improvement for me."

"I have a Prius 2007. I installed the air filter. First day went from 48 mpg to 53 mpg. Now I'm only getting 47.7 mpg. I have no idea why the drop. I haven't driven the car any differently. I am not sure I believe what this air filter is supposed to promise. My acceleration is the same."

"I noticed the increase in hp right after intalling the K&N filter. I have a 99 Ford escort ZX2 and I could feel the difference as the engine accellerated through the gears."
