"You first feel the diference in low end torque. In situations where you would have to downshift to get some pull you don't have to. It also gives you a little extra horsepower at the top end of the power curve."

"I've owned several K&N air filters, air intakes, and cold air intakes. My grandfather used them on tractors dating back several decades as well. I've always been impressed and will continue to use them. The K&N air filter for the 09 Honda 4cyl makes the engine a little bit louder (it sounds like a sewing machine), but nothing that would bother most people. I have not owned it long enough to determine MPG gains and I don't feel any HP gains. I suppose if you were looking for HP, you should have chosen the 6cyl. I personally purchased this filter because I didn't feel like changing the OEM one every interval. Over time, it'll pay for itself."

"I have benn a long time user of K & N products, i have used them in some of the most demanding enviroment possible, and NEVER with a failure ! Short of an actual engine fire, i have never experinced any product failures and even used them while completly submerged in water ( not recommended )! However the filter...still filtered, without debris. I am a million mile customer and user. Sincerly, Keith Fargo,ND"

"The best thing I could have ever did,a friend told me to try it and I thought how much better could it be? it took me a little time to finally spend the money for it, but the performance I get from it I'm hooked! I am certainly going to change to k&n filters on my other two cars, (great filter guys) Bob H."

"I have been using K&N air filters for more than 20 years now. I have installed them in every car, truck and motorcycle I now own. I have found out by experience that K&N air filters give my vehicles more power, better gas mileage and smoother, better running engines. The longevity and lower maintenance is just another big plus. Yes, I know it sounds like a commercial, but when a product works for you as well as K&N filters work for me, I just keep using them. Sincerely, Robert Bullen"

Gas milage up

"After switching all fluids to synthetic and upgrading each part of the ignition system I was only able to boost the MPG from 17 to 19. After installing the K&N it went from 19 to 22.5 MPG. I use K&Ns in all of my cars. but this is the most dramatic boost I have had. 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 Automatic"

"Installed both filters on my cars(2004 Nissan Murano, 2003 Honda Odyssey). Filters were perfects fits. As far as performance, both vehicles are not performance vehicles, so change in power is not very evident. The main reason for purchase was to increase gas mileage. Recording mileage vs. fuel intake and cannot make a good judgement, but am betting that it has to help."

"My new K&N filter is not as good as a cold air injection system for adding pep to the exceleration, but it is better than the stock filter especially in the low rpm range. To bad they don't make a cold air system yet for the 2009 Aveo."

"I heard from friends about K&N filters so I thought I would give one a try in my 2008 GMC Sierra. Everything I was told seems to be true. The truck has more power! It seemed like before I installed the filter something was holding the truck back now it thinks it's a V8. Gas mileage seems better also. Thanks K&N. Mike in Ohio"

"I've had K&N filters in my last three vehicles and am 100% sold on them. Always notice and instant increase in performance. Too bad the designers of my 2008 Saturn Outlook did such a poor job of designing the air filer box. It took special tools and 45 minutes to install the filter."

"I love K&N air filters. I use them in all my cars, but my 2002 Jag S-TYpe seemed to get more of a boost than I expected. It really rolls out the highway, significant difference I can actually feel."

"Dropping a K&N filter into your car's air-cleaner is about the simplest upgrade anyone can make. Gas mileage has improved slightly in the my Civic Si, the "gas-guzzler" of the Civic line. I average between 27 and 30 mpg around town and up to 36 mpg on the highway. The car is rated 19/29 on the window sticker. AutoAnything's sales and shipping service are easy and fast."

"I now own two K&N filters in my 2005 S2000 Roadster and 1988 Accord LXI. We live in the Denver area over 1 mile above sea level. Both my cars showed better responsiveness and fuel efficency after I replaced the OEM filters. The air is thinner here and the cars were showing the effects of the higher altitude. I did not even re-tune the engines for the higher altitude THANKS K&N! I am a believer! Peter, Longmont, CO"
