"Car seems to run pretty slow,thinking to put a higher octane gas but decided to try this first . after installing this filter you can really fill the difference. as of now all my cars are using the K&N . Also just purchased s Smart Fortwo Brabus 2009,don't know if you have one available for this model."

"Looks like it has increased my MPG's by 2. I was averaging 9.7 MPG's in the city. I now am averaging 11.7 MPG's. Now if only I could only convince the EPA to let us use real gasoline instead of a pathetic mixture it would increase by 3 more MPG's."

"I have always had good luck with K&N, fit was perfect. I did lose almost 1 mpg but I think that I must have been getting on it more."

"Since I just bought a new Hemi powered SUV, I am hoping to see some savings through increased gas mileage. After the first 1000 miles with my K&N I can't say I've noticed the difference. BUt it is nice to know I'll never have to buy another air filter."

"I have put K&N drop in replacement filters in my Toyota Yaris and in my wife's Scion XB. Both are 1.5L, 4 cylinder engines that can make use of every bit of boost they can get.
Only about a 1.5 Mpg gain in the Yaris, but enough of a boost that even my wife noticed less hesitation in her XB.
Re-oiling the filter can take some time to do correctly, but with these smaller units it really does not take much oil. I would guess that the cleaning and re-oil kit could run through 4 changes.
Beyond the slight fuel savings, over the life of the car you should save 30-50% of the filter change expense and you will have generated much less waste.
If you are serious about conservation, there is no reason not to use the K&N filters."

"After removing the plastic cover, installing the K&N filter was a breeze. If I did gain extra HP, it was not noticeable. This is the first performance upgrade I've made to the XC90 so that may be why no noticeable difference."

"Got tired of oil change place reminding me that my air filters needed changing, so was thrilled to find K&N. Now, they don't bother me anymore and actually treat me like a smart customer! The rest of the cars in the household followed suit...now we have them on all of them, and am about to purchase another one for our youngest driver's new used car! It gives me and my husband peace of mind that our teenagers don't have to forget to replace their air filters as they don't have to for a loooong time."

"I have been using K&N for sometime now, I have 6 cars, and 2 trucks.all with filters......the collector cars also have oil filters on them......they ALL run better than with the OEM filters. Milage on my GMC Acadia increase from 20mpg to 21.8mpg...thats impressive!"

"2001 Ford Mustang Auto. GT convert.
Purchased K and N FIPK 2 and paired it up with Professional Products plenum and throttle body. Wow, did it bring my auto. to life! I finally can tell I have a V8 under my hood and it doesn't drive like a family sadan. Def. recommend purchase of K and N along with a good plenum/throttle body. Made a world of difference! If you have a mustang-can't go wrong.

"I haven't had much time to experience the full realm of the K and N filter I installed in my 2008 Impala. I am hoping it will improve the fuel economy of my 3.5 liter engine. I get decent mileage for a full size car and would like to see if it can improve with the new investment.
It was fairly simple to install and came packaged very nicely. I was impressed with the care that was used in shipping and delivery of my new filter.
I hope to get improved performance from my vehicle and will be anxious to see how it does."

"I've used K&N for several years , Unrestricted air into the engine is very emportant for better economy , The K&N is as close as it gets to better air flow ,saving dollars also as it never needs replaced if serviced at regular intervals."
