"Purchased the K and N air filter for my 05 Honda Civic. The air filter in my car was brand new, but with the K and N, I've noticed slightly better gas mileage and a little more throttle response. Overall, worth the money."

"Increased gas mileage 1/2 mpg city driving, 1 to 1.5 mpg combined city/highway... haven't done any highway only. With gas prices going up all the time, any increase is WELCOME!"

"The K&N air filter has increased car's performance as seen upon entering highway ramps and in passing as well. Getting more horses out of the 4 banger and improving mileage at the same time. A real no-brainer for the money."

"I have K&N on all my vehicles. The longer life and increase in performance and fuel mileage are just what is promised. this last one is on my Ford F-350 Super Duty extended cargo van that we use for commuting, camping and maybe staying in the parking lot after too late to drive parties. The fit is always good and easy to install. I just wish there was a complete intake system available."

"K&N fliters are one of the best values on the market for air filters. You will never have to replace them as long as you own your vehicle if you clean them about every six months & they are supposed to give you extra horepower too ! They are also very easy to install !"

"It is a bit early to say, but there does seem to be better pickup on both Vehicles. Gas mileage on the HWY was definitely better, but not in the city. Overall, I feel it was worth it."

"In surfing the Internet for information on ways to improve gas mileage (I drive a Hummer and my husband drives a F150) we discovered all the great reviews for K&N filters. We also had a friend recommend them to us as a way to improve performance and gas mileage. Based on all the recommendations, we recentely bought one for each of our vehicles. So far (it's only been two weeks) we have noticed we have more take-off power (especially in the Hummer) and it is looking like we'll be improving our mileage as well. The jury is still out on exactly how much that will be, but at this point any increase is appreciated."

"It took only about 5 minutes to install the K&N filter in my Honda Ridgeline and the results were immediate. Acceleration was much improved over use with the factory air filter and on a subsequent trip my gas mileage was up about 1 1/2 miles per gallon. This is the third K&N filter I have purchased over the years and each one has done exactly what they were touted to do. I couldn't be more pleased. Ron Rutland, VT"

"I am a little disappointed in the K&N filter I recently purchased. After puttin it in I made a 130 mile drive (the same one I have made many times in the last 2 months) and discovered to my dismay that the mileage I achieved was about 2 mpg (approx 7%) less than I had been getting on the exact same trip a week before. I used the filter as it came out of the box figuring that the factory would have oiled it correctly so before I pass final judgement o this particular application I will clean it and oil it per instrucation and drive the same loop again."
