"I've used re-usable air filters for years, including in race cars, and K&N definitely makes the highest quality filter. They're more expensive than other filters, but they pay for themselves in the end."

"Overall, the K&N filter definitely makes a difference. The acceleration is better, especially at low rpms. The mileage showed a small improvement too... about 1/2 a mile per gallon. And the sound is just slightly more pronounced. So the K&N won't turn your car into a jet... but it will make a slight, but noticable, difference."

"What a pain this was, I tried repeatedly to fit it to no avail. Trying to get a flexible tube into an tight space is not a good design. It should have had a more solidly constructed mating collar than the rubber one that it comes with. Never again."

"I HAVE USED K&N FOR OVER 20 YEARS. i HAVE USED REPLACEMENT FILTERS ALL THE WAY TO COLD AIR INTAKES. I WOULD NEVER USE ANYTHING BUT A K&N IN MY VEHICLE. WHY CHOOSE LESS THAN THE BEST."

"I had a chance to drive a few miles and see how the K&N filter performed under various driving conditions: The vehicle being a 4 wheel drive truck, the engine is mainly designed for low-end torque. I notice a little more power in the mid range of the RPM scale. This is handy in passing situations. I gained about one (1) mpg increase in gas mileage; going from 19 mpg to about 20."

"The K&N filter pays for it self with the increase in MPG. I would by this filter for all my vehicles. In 4 filter changes this thing is paid for."

"I bought a new K&N filter after reading reviews on increased gas mileage. After checking several sights, autoanything had the best price. After I installed the filter I immediately noticed the increase in power and ease of the engine revving. I track my mileage and was getting 17.5 to 18 in the city. I have gotten 18.5 and 19 in the two fill-ups since. I love the filter and would recommend them to anyone who wants less maintenance, and to save money on fuel and filters. "I bought this filter after installing one in my motorcycle & getting positive results. The first tank has returned a 15% increase in fuel mileage & the car requires less throttle especially while cruising. I plan to monitor for dirt downstream of the filter because I've been reading some not-to-flattering reviews on the K&N filters"
