"This was my 1st time using a K&N filter and WOW, what a product. My car feels like its on steroids and I'm not exaggerating a bit. The throttle is so responsive now that I can't believe it. My car was very sluggish before and I can't believe the difference this filter made."

"Purchased and installed the K&N filter for my '08 TL about two weeks ago. The most I got and noticed was the MPG gain of 2 miles. I actually get 28 MPG on my car now (previous around 25-26 MPG, mixed driving). Installation was easy as ABC. I highly recommend this product and I also wanted to THANKs AutoAnything for fast shipment and for the available discounts!!!"

"Although the K&N filter I purchased for My 2008 Highlander fit perfectly, it was slightly thicker than the OEM, thus causing a few issues when being installed. This is not a K&N problem, but it seems that Auto manufacturers are basically very lax concerning placement of simple, user-replaceable parts on their vehicles...I was yearning for the old circular air filters that used to be replaced with a simple wing nut."

"I BOUGHT (2) K&N AIR FILTERS FOR MY 07 TUNDRA AND 96 VOLVO 850. I REALLY CAN NOT TELL MY GAS MILEAGE INCREASED OR THAT I HAVE MORE HORSE POWER. I WILL GIVE IT MORE TIME BEFORE I FORM AN OPINION OF MY K&N AIR FILTERS."

"Did notice a slight improvement in vehicle performance after Filter installation. Car seems to run a little smoother with a little more pep. Don't know if it will make a difference in gas milege...that is yet to be observed. Installtion was easy. 10mm bolts on either side of the Air Filter cover...loosen and lift cover..slide out old filter making sure you observe how it was installed...put in the K&N following the same alignment...makeing sure you install the filter proper side up and in the correct direction. There is only one square corner on the original filter and the K&N so that should make alignment easy."

"It installed pretty easy. About 10 minutes. It gave me a 1.5 - 2 MPG. I can't complain about that it will pay itself off pretty fast when you only get 10-11 MPG. It did change the sound of the truck slightly. A little deeper but you would never notice if you did drive it every day. Overall a good product."

"kn air filters are sort of like carrying a lucky charm. Your not sure if it actually works, but just in case it's worth the risk. They are quality made and last a *lifetime* as far as replacing conventional air filters. However, any performance,fuel improvements on trucks and suvs will be ever so slight. They certainly can't hurt."

"Have not driven enought yet to notice any improvements. Sealing gasket is thicker than stock filter which makes it harder to fasten filter cover latches."

"It is by far the best value for your buck. When I took out the original air filter and placed it beside the K & N filter there was no comparrison. The original look like a disposable baby diaper compared to the workmanship and quality of the K & N and I never have to worry again."

"To early to tell.As I already get 46 mpg @60 mph,I don't expect much,if any improvement there.(A 2 mpg increase hiway would be great.)I hope for about the same increase on local driving (27 mpg +2 mpg increase)I do like the fact that there is very little increase in under the hood noise. As I said ,time will tell.Suggest you wait until old filter is dirty & ready to replace.Then if you don't get the improvements they claim you wont be as unhappy."

"I'm sure at top-end engine speeds there's at least 1-2 HP more than with conventional filters. My special edition Accord has an enhanced air intake, so I wanted to maximize its potential. I don't expect a huge difference in fuel economy (unless my old air filter was clogged). But most importantly, I love not having to worry about cleaning the air filter for 50,000 miles!"

"I purchased a replacement filter for my '05 F-150. The quality of the filter is definately superior to stock. I havent really noticed any horsepower gains (nor was it the reason I purchased it.) But it will be a value item over the long haul since I dont have to replace the filter again."
