"These filters are terrific! I transferred my first one to four different F 150s, second one to a 2006 tundra, and now third one to a 2007 Ridgeline. Quality is superb, installation generally five minutes or less. I have the cleaning kit so once a year clean them up. One time investment, says money and saves gas.
I am sold on this product and think it is wellworth the investment.

"I installed the K&N in my 2007 Cadillac SRX hoping to get a mile or two extra per gallon. Instead, my gas mileage has actually gone down at least that much. I am very disappointed. While I think K&N make a good quality product and I have used them in the past on other vehicles, it didn't meet expectations this time."

"I now have a K&N filter in both of my vehicles, and the performace gains, if any, are not really that noticable. When you really hammer down on the accelerator, which isn't very often for me, you can hear the difference.
The major factor of why I purchased the K&N filter is the no hassle maintenance. 100K miles, for real? You never have to worry about changing the air filter in your car if that's the case. Maybe K&N should make 100K mile fuel filters, oil filters, and any other filter you can imagine.
Good prodcut, and it will save $$ in the long run if you perform regular maintenance."

"More people should install K&N filters. They are provide reduced maint. costs, time and are good for the environment at the same time. Less material disposal, the car runs better and gets better MPG."

"I'm not sure when it first started, but the idea of a disposable world is ridiculous. Lighters, pens, razors, and of course filters for everything has slowly turned into a disposable attitude that carries all the way up to cars, relationships and even employees.
The K & N filter is a perfect example of how we can keep things for life literally and they don't become obsolete and with little concern about going out of style. Thomas Edison's first light bulb is still working yet I have to replace bulbs every year?
If more company's found a way to make products you never or at least almost never had to replace I am sure people would gladly pay the extra price. Beyond the landfill is the energy it requires to make ship and sell the item over and over because it's disposable. Not to mention the time we all take to go out and get the items to replace the ones that were either designed to fail two minutes after the warranty ran out or social pressure requires us to get something new due to style or incompatibility with new products like computers and software.
I hope K&N continues to make this product forever. And I hope other companies realize the importance of quality over frequency of sales."

"I've used K&N air filters on my other two MBZ and a Ford Explorer. Clearly noticed the most improvement on the Explorer. I like knowing that they do a good job of filtering with better air flow than conventional air filters. I know I always wash out a lot of dirt when I clean the filters.
I just put my latest K&N filter in my Prius. Can too much air affect performance of a tiny 4 cyclinder?
The K&N filters are good. I guess if they can be cleaned and reused repeatedly, they have to be expensive."

"We enjoy and impressed with the air filter. The air filter helps my car run better, faster, saves on gas,has excellent performance. "so far on 2 gas tank fill ups have not seen any difference in mileage, did check and set the tire pressure on the second go round to make sure all was well. will give it more time, installation was not easy, blame it more on my truck than k and n...my wife says she feels the difference when accelerating but then again she has a lead foot!!!.."

"AutoAnything's response to my K&N air filter order was very expedient and professional. The K&N air filter has appeared to add the advertised horsepower to my Toyota Tacoma pickup, but at least with the first tank of gas has not increased the gas mileage at all. The extra performance in the vehicle is a benefit, however I was really hoping to improve the fuel economy. Possibly after several tanks have gone through, things may improve but I must admit to being slightly disappointed to not have gained 1-2 mpg."

"I've been using K&N filters on my past 4 vehicles. You can definitely feel a slight boost in performance. I recently purchased from autoanything and received them in about 4 days after ordering. I installed them in my new vehicle (G35x) which requires two filters (1 minute each). Let me tell you there's a noticeable increase in performance (acceleration mainly). Should also boost gas mileage slightly as well."
