"Exact replacement for my OEM air filter. I use K&N in all my cars and trucks and have noticed some increase in mileage, but the biggest factor is, I never have to buy another paper filter to keep my engines breathing "clean"."

still early

"It is still early but here are my results after 2 weeks. I normally get 14 to 15 mpg in the city, slightly higher on the highway. My first tank averaged 18 mpg. Second tank averaged 12.7 mpg. I do a lot of stop and go driving in the city (Phoenix). I do notice a smoother running engine that appears to run cooler. Acceleration has always been good, but it is slightly better with this filter. All in all I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product. I'm going to track this a few more months and if the difference is noticeable, will install a filter on my wife's truck."

"I first purchased a K&N filter in 2002 for my Ford F-150 pickup. I then installed one in my 2005 Nissan Maxima, In 2006 I installed one in my Toyota Tacoma pickup. I just purchased a 2008 Toyoat Avalon and have onstalled one in it. I noticed an immediate increase in acceleration and my mileage has improved nominally. They are easy to service and well worth the investment. I have installed the one I had in my Ford Pickup in my father-in-law's 2003 Ford F-150 pickup and he has noticed the difference also. "Lots of vairables, put new tires on, changed to K&N filter. Mileage droped .8 per gallon. I drive through different states, so when I pull up to the pump I"m not sure what I"m getting in gas quality."

"The best upgrade you can purchase for the money. Never buy another air filter again and the quality of K&N will not let you down. My Civic has stopped gasping for air and runs with less RPM's. Going to get one for the wife's Toyota."

"I can tell that I've picked up a horse or two with off the line acculeration. Haven't noticed any extra MPG yet, hopefully there sure to come. What this vehicle needs is a cool air induction, but this filter is still a good buy."

"chevy put some tork screws at odd angles near the rad return hose but overall the install was very easy. the truck seemed to breath easier and the drop in filter worked as advertized. increase in hp is nominal.."

"I notice that my car starts easier on these very cold mornings below zero even in my garage. I have also experienced better pep on excelleration from stoplite too along with better miles per gallon,average 22mpg city."

"This is the 5th K&N air filter I have used. In every case I have improved my gas mileage by 2 to 3 mpg even in vehicles already know for fuel efficiency. The biggest difference is in the Chevy pick ups I have owned. When you improve mileage and power on a 4.3L engine it is a great plus."

"After the simple instalation of my new K&N air filter, the engine felt like it had more power, and the car has better pick up. The car has better over all performance equaling better gas milage, which was what i was looking for."

"I recently purchased a K&N filter for my 2001 BMW 325i to replace the old stock filter. It truly makes a difference. The engine runs better with a slight increase in power, has a lower idle in first and second gear, and seems a little louder. This is a great product and I look forward to putting one in my new M3 next year."

"I have a mitsu. gallant ralliart with a 3.8 V6 W/MIVEC. A stock air filter for my car is $20 so getting a K&N filter for a little more than the cost of 2 paper ones just made sense. Nice thing is the K&N fit perfectly and wont void my warranty. Me and the wife can both tell the diference. When the MIVEC kicks in the car just pulls harder. Also my car has a MPG display and the car is now 2 mpg higher on average than what it was with a paper filter. For me if you add all of this up it just makes sense and a little more fun to drive."

"apparently the previous owner hadn't changed the filter in quite a while so it was badly clogged. The k&n made an immediate difference. it drops directly in where the stock one went. it was so easy to install. also over the life of my car it should save me money."
