"I have 4 K&N filters that I have installed in various vehicles. BMW Motorcycle, 73 Ford Pinto, 85 Ford EXP and 00 Mustang. Each vehicle I noticed improved performance most notably was the Pinto. I had installed a hipo cam, header with larger exhaust and a dual port intake. The car really responded when I installed the new filter and housing."

"I have only run one tank of gas in it since i installed it. Can`t give a good evaluation,but gas milage was a bit less."

"Easy to install. Saves money in the long run. saves maintenance time. I know i have one the best best air filters on the market.Tundra feels like it has more torque on take off.It's a 4x4 with a 5.7 engine"

"Remarkable increase in HP, torque and fuel economy. I had read the Mitsu 4B11 responded well to this filter but was stunned at the excellent resilts I got. Highly recommended."

"The easier it is for aspirated engines to draw in air for combustion, the more power they can produce. K&N air filters allow this unrestricted flow which results in increased rpm and power. I recommend their use for any engine."

"Just added the K&N filter and once i started the car i noticed the improvements...increased power and output and i am getting a few more mpgs, definitely going to put these filters in my other cars..."

"Easy drop in filter replacement for stock with notice of improved airflow for vehicle. I have only noticed a slight mpg increase however the increased airflow/power gain and low maintenance will have me returning for another for my other vehicle."

"Not sure if this filter really gives a big power increase, but it did make my Astra run smoother and I have an increase of 1-2 mpg worth of fuel mileage. At $30, well worth the purchase!!"

"Cost is about 20 % higher than paper air filters, but if does not have to be replaced in 30k miles it is a good value. I have not noticed any change in performance. I will check fuel mileage next month when we take a 800 mile trip."

"I put K&N air filters on all my cars. My newest addition is to my 97 Del Sol that I bought used with a filthy paper air filter. The car seemed very slugish untill I put on the K&N. This filter probably does not give the estimated HP and Fuel Economy savings it claims but I have noticed better throttle response and quicker acceleration every time and will continue to use K&N filters. Autoanything shipped quickly and I will continue to use this site. Thanks"

My underpowered 4 cyl Dakota P/U

"My 98 Dodge Dakota 2.5 4 cyl is and has always been underpowered until I combined the K&N air filter with a Turbonator air line insert. What a difference! The truck now has almost 100,000 miles and for the first time ever I no longer have to downshift from 5th gear on grades. I also have plenty of get up and go in the lower gears. I have not calculated the gas mileage yet but am sure it will improve since my foot is no longer buried in the floorboard all the time."

Good for increased airflow and minor mpg savings

"I put the K&N filter in my 2003 Toyota Matrix and it dropped a few RPM at idle so I knew it was flowing more air. I seem to be getting better gas mileage around town but I haven't gone for any considerable distance to make an exact calculation. I am sure highway savings would be increased more than city mpg. Figuring these cost about twice what a regular filter would cost it is well worth it for a lifetime filter. If you take a total look at the oil and filter cleaner you have to buy it will take you a few years to come out ahead but after that it is all money in the bank (you will recoup your investment faster if you equip multiple vehicles since the oil and filter cleaner can be used for them as well)."

"When I removed the Honda filter it was apparent that the K&N filter was a much better quality filter.I don't feel any difference in performance (at 82 I and a slow driver), but I have picked up a couple miles of mileage."

"I am very happy with the products K&N make. I have two cars and a motorcycle with K&N filters for all. The filter allows better air flow into the engine while filtering the air with great efficiency. TO me it is peace of mind to have the best product on the market installed in my vehicles."
