"I have K&N filters in all three of my cars. They sell a good product and the price you sold this last filter for my new truck was the best around. I like that K&N not only gives you directions to install the filter, they make it simple by providing actual color photos of the install so anyone can do it. For about the price of two paper filters, I have a filter that will last the life of my new truck. I threw away (recycle bin) the paper filter that came with the vehicle."

"Just recently installed a K&N air filter, definately a high quality piece, you can hear the difference right away, it looks much less restrictive than the stock air filter. Installation was a snap, just a few screws and clips, I haven't really noticed a difference in gas mileage or power, but I haven't really driven that far since I installed it, it looks good though. Wish they had a cold air intake system for my Viggen, but the filter will have to do."

K&N Air Filter Has Not Improved Mileage So Far

"The Jury is still out. I purchased a K&N Air Filter for my 2008 PT Cruiser with the goal of improving my MPG. Sure, I understand that they are not sold with this guarantee, however, I remain hopeful. The product appearance and quality was as advertised. Very easy to install. However, upon initial installation and driving in town my MPG actually 'dropped' from 18+ to 14+ MPG!! Over the past couple of weeks the MPG has slowly increased to around 17+. Hopefully, this is a trend and that the vehicle computer is 'learning' to adjust to the increased air flow and subsequently continue to increase the MPG. As far as performance goes I cannot truthfully say I've seen any remarkable difference. The PT Cruiser is a Turbo and tends to perform well anyway. If I see any further improvements in MPG I write a footnot to this review."

"Knowing that it made a difference in my past high performance vehicles, I decided to get a replacement K&N filter for my daily driver (stock '86 Totyota pick truck), with 300,000 miles on it. I was hoping to gain a little more torque for going uphill on the H3 Freeway. I am happy to report that after installing the K&N Filter, I can now accellerate up this incline in top gear, without having to downshift. Prior to installing the K&N Filter, the motor would struggle if the revs dropped too low in top gear."

"Am using this K&N Air Filter for the first time, and am very happy with it.....I put this on right b4 we went our trip and I felt throwout the trip mileage increase by 5 mil per gal. I never new that air filter play such big role in mileage...little expense but pays of over the time.... very happy with it !!"

"I am a firm believer in K&N filters. I have run them in every vehicle that I have had for the last 15 years. I replaced the factory filter in my 07 Dodge Ram mega-cab 4x4 w/Cummins 6.7 engine and I have seen an improvement of .5 to 1.0 mile per gallon! That may not seem as much, but it does add up. Especially with the price of deisel. I would recommend Auto-Anything and K&N to anyone."

"Hello, I buy the filter because I feel my car is a little punish for the air filter, before I install the new filter I get 18 miles for gallon in city (I drive 12 o 13 miles for day) and now I get 21 miles for gallon, I'm really happy with my filter, and the second thing is the transmission, when I need make a strong acceleration, my car make a strong effort for run, some times the seconds look like hours when you have the nice guy behind you where the lights. Now I don't have any problem, when I push the gas the car run easy and smooth, I really think is a good and no so expensive thing to do for be a little more secure and expend less money in gas. I only wondering "If I buy all the system and not only the filter?" Well, but I'm sure I have more than I expect. For me was a surprise, I think before all the publicity in the cite K&N was that, publicity, but I can feel in my wallet and my safety. Excellent product."

"I looked at the cost of standard filters over time compared to the K&N and it was no contest. Installed the K&N into my 4 cylinder Toyota Camry and I have definitely have noticed a difference. I would recommend this filter to anyone!"

"Can keep this short and sweet. FEEL the Power increase -- Stop for gas a little less often (your MPG will improve) ---PAYS FOR ITSELF in just a few mounths. AND YES, I've had one in every car."

"All of the information that I read on K&N air filters before I purchased one was that I would see an increase in fuel mileage, if anything my fuel mileage has gone down a mile a gallon (from 21 to 20). I have noticed a little bit of a horse power gain wich is nice. Overall I am generally pleased with my purchase."

"Added Some noise, and the blow off Valve on the Evo X, is noticeable now, If you REALLY try to hear it. As for the power, seemed to have lost some low end grunt, and perhaps gained some or no noticeable difference on the top end. But once I get an Exhaust I think it should really become a useful modification. -EH, Seattle"

"This being the first K&N I have bought it appears to live up to its billing as the best there is. Solid, well constructed and is a great alternative. Time will tell about any potential advantages in power and/or fuel consumption at same speeds since I have kep very detailed records."

"Easy to install and you can clearly see the difference in quality from cheaper filters. Seems to be improving the gitty up in my car and even had improved gas mileage, went from 29 mpg highway to 33 mpg highway."

"This is my second K&N air filter and I am completly satisfied. I brought a new Honda CR-V and when I put my foot on the gas pedal I would get a hesitation. But when I put in my new K&N air filter I get a nice clean accleration. Now I fell confident when I need to get on highway or pass other cars. Thank you K&N for makig a fine product. Steve "
