"I have not got a good chance to see if it makes any difference in performance but it is a lot more economical to just buy one and reuse rather than throwing the other ones away all the time."

"I'm very happy with my purchase of a K&N original replacement filter. I have used one on my dirt bike for years and have thought about for the car for quite a while. After installation , of course had to test drive! Immediatley I noticed an increase in throttle response off the bottom and crisper response all through rpm's. I would recommend this filter for everyone! The cold air intake must be awsome! Thanks K&N! Thomas"

"Increased the MPG's on my 2007 Nissan Maxima from 21.75 MPG to 24.25 MPG on the first tank of fuel. I'll take an 11% increase in my MPG's when gas is $4.31 a gallon."

"I bought the K&N filter to save cost. Why buy 5 - 10 paper filters that restrict airflow, and rob me of gas mileage, when I can buy one K&N filter that will last 100,000 miles and improve my miles per gallon. I don't own a Hot Rod but I noticed a difference in performance the first time I drove with the K&N filter."

"not sure if it is the placebo effect but i do feel improved performance out of my car. in high altitude (denver) any additional oxygen pumping in helps specially for a 4 cyl car."

"Paper air filters used at prescribed regular intervals add up. An owner-serviceable filter is an intelligent investment. Mechanically, K&N can't be beat. More air, more everything!"

"Just returned from a 500 mile trip after installing a new K&N air filter. Did not note any improvement in miles per gallon or power. But I do hope that this to be a cost effective purchase over the time I plan to drive this car (10 years and 100k miles)."

"Only a one time initial purchase cost, then the filter lasts forever..no more wasting money on regular air filters!! Of course you know it saves money at the pump and produces more horsepower and efficiency, period! All my cars have K&N air filters!"

"I checked my gas mileage after my first full tank of gas and my mileage increased by 3 or 4 miles per gallon. I hope this wasn't just a fluke. I recently purchased new tires also so it may be the combination of both. I'm sure the K&N Air Filter had something if not the most to do with it."
