"I just installed my first K&N filter in my 2006 Chevy Equinox. Simple installation and I was really impressed with the quality of the product. My first two fuel fill-ups showed a slight increase in gas mileage. I have yet to drive under conditions that would reveal an increase in power."

K&N filter replacement for 2008 WRX

"I purchased this filter as a temporary fix to increase air flow into the engine. Prior to installing the filter, I had installed an SPT exhaust. While the exhaust seemed to provide more torque and acceleration at higher RPM's the car seemed a little starved for O2 below 3K RPM's. In short, the K&N filter has made a "noticeable" difference in the cars responsiveness at lower RPM'S. I say that the filter is temporary, because at some point I hope to install an SPT cone (cold air intake) to replace the factory box filter. Overall, the K&N works well i just think the cold air intake will probably provide even better air flow to the engine."

"Be green in two ways - save gas and use a permanent air filter. I have put these in all my cars for the last 15 years. They really hold up well and filter better than paper."

"A Brother told me about this filter at one of our church campmeeting. He told me how it could help me get about 20% better gas mileges. I am very please with my filter in my 1993 honda accord ex."

"K&N air filters are the best there is. Little pricey, but it boosts performance and is the last air filter you will ever buy. Too bad the air filter is so hard to reach on my Saab 9-5 (under the car!). Maybe that's all the more reason to get a filter you will never replace. Great product though."

"I can tell by the sound of the engine that it is getting better air flow. I drive eighty miles a day and I have been getting about two miles per gallon better gas mileage than before. Great air filter."

"I've only had this in my '03 Mercedes ML350 for a week or so but fuel economy has improved (still checking but only filled up once last week to my normal 2Xs and approximately 500 miles). Filter was very easy to install and only took about 60 seconds (releasing fasteners, removing OEM filter, dropping in the new K&N, and securing the fasteners)."

My 3 K&N Air Filters

"I installed my first K&N air filter in our 2001 Toyota Avalon, totalled in 2008. My second was the K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit I installed in my 2005 Toyota Tundra, which has improved power and gas mileage. My third K&N air filter is now in our 2004 Toyota Avalon, installed when it was due for a new air filter."

"This filter was very easy to install. There was really no noticable increase in power. If I had it to do over, I probably would spend the $285 for the K&N performance kit. I paid $46 for the filter with free shipping from Autoanything. That was the best deal I could find."

"I replaced the stock filter with a K&N filter about a month ago in my 05 S2000 and have consistantly gotten 1 to 2 mpg better mileage than with the stock filter. Nothing huge but with todays gas prices it's a welcome improvement. Installation was literally as easy as taking the top off the air box, pulling the stock filter out, and puttng the K&N filter in."

"I heard about this product and was skeptical but after installing it and then driving for the past two weeks i notice a dramatic difference that only the filter could have caused. this was installed in a new acquisition and all filters have been changed and now gas mileage on the highway is approaching 25 mpg - rough estimate. what a difference some clean filters, great tires, and suspension can make on performance. Highly recommend these for even the regular user. no more filters to buy at oil changes. the only filter your car will ever need."
