"Prompt shipping, good quality, avg MPG gain over 4 fill ups = 0.7 mpg Hard to tell any power gain, that's ok. Will get payback in next 2 filter changes."

"My '04 Infiniti M45 shifts faster and is a little more responsive after the K&N filter was dropped in. It took 10 seconds to change filters. The 340 hp of the v-8 sounds good and is a bit quicker, as well. Good job K&N!"

"I made my usual summer vacation highway drive of 700 miles to SC, last year and this year. I re-set the trip mileage calculator on both trips. Last year I got 29 mpg, highway only milage. After replacing the air filter with a K&N for this years trip, I got 31 mpg, highway only. Great product!"

"The K&N filter has considerably less filter area than the OEM unit - it is less than half the thickness, with less overall filtering area. I am reluctant to replace it with a unit with an, obviously,reduced filter area. It seems to me, the object is to reduce the restriction to incoming air, while improving filtration; I see neither of these with the K&N filter."

"I have purchased a K & N filter for each of my vehicles for several years now. In all cases I experience noticeably better performance as well as a slight increase in fuel economy (about 1 1/2 MPG). With their long service life I consider K & n air filters a good value."

"I have always look to K&N for fine air filters and its one of the first things I do to a new car purchase. Did it again with our 08 Malibu LTZ Spring edition. Not a full tank of gas to see if any gain yet, but I expect an increase."

"I bought two separate K$N filters for two of my vehicles ( a SUV and mini Van) . Upon installation it was obvious the engine ran smoother than before. There were small mileage improvement on both vehicles . This a good investment."

"LIKE ALL OF MY EARLIER BUYS FROM K&N I FOUND IT TO GIVE MORE POWER AND MORE MILAGE OF AT 1.5 MPG IN CITY DRIVING. THE CR-V IS MY WIFE'S AND SHE IS GETTING RIGHT AT 23 MPG. THE CR=V IS RATED AT 22MPG CITY. SO BIG DEAL,RIGHT WELL SHE HAS TO GO ACROSS WILMINGTON,NC WITH THE STOP LIGHTS AND TRAFFIC-------THAT MAKES IT AMAZING TO ME . MOSTLY BEFORE SHE WAS GETTING AROUND 21.4. LATER!!!!!"

"I noticed an increase in mpg and performance. Drove to Niagara Falls from Detroit Metro area with 13.3 gal of gas;Logged overall 489 miles and got 36.7 mpg! 07 Buick CXL Lurcern 3.8 before K & N filter was 28 mpg ( based on 2007 mpg estimates not the new 2008). Increase of 8 mpg! I know that each situation is different but for me this filter works BIG time! Again, car has more acceleration now than before. I like the sound of all that air rushing into my engine. R Southfield, Michigan"

"K&N has always produced good products. I have had my air filter in for about 3 weeks now and I am averaging about 1 mile per gallon better fuel economy. Power wise not really that noticable though it does sound a little bit throaty when you step down on it. I'm sure it turned my stock 367 HP into a solid 370 HP."

research before purchase

"I ordered this for my 2004 Trailblazer with the attempt to increase my MPG, (even just .5 would of been great)! I was averaging before the installation 16.7. After installation with 5 days of use I am slowly declining daily. I am currently down to 15.2. I am still on the same tank of gas and traveling the same route without diviation, so that would not influence the decline. I spoke with my mechanic and he stated that on some Vortec's the oil from the filter gets into the air intake and chokes it out. I now have $60.00 worth of filter sitting in my closet. If I could return this filter I would."
