"The car runs better than before. We haven't checked the MPG yet, but we are sure it is getting better because it is running easier than before. Some people say K&N filters are bad because the oil gets on the mass air sensor and throws off codes, but that has never happened to me or my wife. We use the aerosol re-oiling can instead of the tube, maybe this makes the difference. Anyway we are very satisfied."

"This filter is a stock type replacement for the original factory cylindrical filter. The instalation took about five minutes, even though the factory canister, where the filter resides, is somewhat cumbersome, with several screws to unfasten to allow access. The K&N filter fit neatly in its place, even though the diameter of its cylinder is slightly smaller than the stock one. I expect to get the same great performance from this filter that I have from other K&N filters I have used over the years. Steve"

"When I purchased a used Harley a few years back I noticed the bike would outperform other similar Harleys that I was riding with. I soon found that the previous owner had installed a K&N filter kit in the bike. Since then I've gotten one for our Toyota Camry and a PT Cruiser that I have just purchased. It's a no brainer; I get better performance and better gas mileage in all 3 vehicles and I save money on gas and buying new filters. All 3 vehicle have better acceleration because the engines breathe better. I love 'em!"

"I installed my K&N filter in my new Mazda MX3 and it does what it says it will do. Very well made and although I have not noticed a major increase in fuel economy there was an improvement overall."

"Purchased the K&N drop in filter for my smart Fortwo. Instantly felt a better acceleration, and crisper shifts from the manu-matic transmission. First partial tank showed a 1 mpg in-town economy increase. First full tank had a true 2 mpg increase. I log all my fuel purchases, and can't wait for a road trip to see if I finally break the 50 mpg barrier."

"I have the filter charger kit in my Chev. Tahoe and it has added 2 mpg city and highway. I just purchased a filter for my wifes Infinity Q45 and I will be ordering one in the next couple of days for my new Hyundai Sonata. I need to verify that the 2008 Sonata filter will fit my 2009."

"I have had K&N air filters in my cars in the past. Usually, I have felt a performance advantage and a fuel economy benefit. With this one, I noticed about 1-2 mpg benefit, but no performance advantage. It is also a lot more flimsy than I have seen in the past. K&N must be cutting costs and using cheaper materials. Still worth it if I keep getting better gas mileage."

"I replaced the stock paper air filter with a K&N replacement. The throttle response seems to be a little better and the sound during acceleration seems to be a little louder."

"I have not noticed an increase in mpg on my Santa Fe yet,maybe after a few more miles. I installed one on my DODGE RAM 2500 and it did increase my mpg."

"I have K & N in both my cars. Are they better than other filters, I don't know for sure, I'm going by the data provided about air flow and life. I figure that if a regular filter cost $7-8 & are replaced every 7-8k miles, the cost averages out about the same. If performance is better because of K & N, then I've come out ahead. Plus I like the idea of cleaning & reusing instead of just replaceing."

"I'm no stranger to K & N air filters. I've used them in Miatas, Ford P.U.'s and even mama's Lincoln. Its one of the few products that you can actually feel the improvement. I've been a walking advertisement for them for years."

"Prior to the installation of the K&N filter I installed a Borla cat-back system. The addition of the K&N filter really inhanced both the sound and power. I have installed a K&N on every car I have owned in the last 20 years."

"The title sums it up. The cost for this lifetime filter is less then that of two OEM's. A week after I installed this filter the ECM recalibrated and I felt a slight "seat of the pants" HP increase. Easy install as o all drop in K&N air filters."
