"This filter didn't quite fot the airbox like the BMC filter if was replacing! Had to cut a small section of the new filter to get it to fit flush in the airbox. Volvo XC70 filter fit o.k.!"

"The only air filter I'll ever use is a K&N. Only have to clean about once a year but get more power and gas mileage than with any of those old paper filters."

"This is just one of those things you have to do to your car. Tint your windows, set your radio stations, and put in a K&N filter. I change my air filters as often as I change cars, so never... Local service stations will charge $40 to put in a cheap replacement, buy one of these and call it a day. Actually gets better mileage and performance as it gets dirty."

"I have a '99 Hyundai Accent with 92HP and I drive 132 miles a day. Since I put the K&N, I feel the difference when I take off. The car accelerates a lot better, performs better. It's also nice not to have to buy an Air filter again. I recommend K&N "from Autoanything" to everybody."

"Just replaced the OEM paper filter with a K&N filter. Installation was dead easy. I love these - better response, and extra "horses" - all good! And AutoAnything shipping was really quick. Can't beat these guys."

"I received my K&N drop-in filters a little 0ver a week ago. I have driven two out of our three vehicles fairly reasonable distances during that period of time. I have had my Scion XB and Nissan Pulsar on the road both in town and on short road trips. The XB is performing fantastic. The initial torque off of the line is not to be believed. Passing power is also greatly improved. I haven't driven enough to go through many tankfuls of gas, but I feel confident that my mileage has improved at least 2 MPG. The Pulsar seems to be even more frugal at the pump. It is our "fun" car and is even more so with the addition of the filter. To sum up; I could not be happier with my purchase. It has been a great value for the money. yours truly, Phil Ingersoll"

"Easy installation. I have not noticed and fuel gains but not really a priority. I am glad that I never have to buy another air filter again for this vehicle. I should have bought this a long time ago."

"I'd used K&N filters on all my cars for over 10 years. they are, as usual, great performers. With teh K&N filters, the engine is more responsive and I get an added benefit of better fuel economy."

"On C-5 Corvettes you must pull the lower air box out of the car in order to install the stick on gasket. ( A one time deal) The box is NOT an easy pull due to a crappy GM design. If the filter would have dropped in like a stock filter, it would be no problem. I managed to break one of the cheesy metal straps that hold the whole contraption together. They are a cool $100! I managed to TIG weld/repair my strap. Because of the need to pull the box apart, this turned into a 2 hour nightmare. This filter also fits Chevy vans, so maybe that is why it wasn't a drop in?? I am very mechanically talented, I am not real happy with this project. I wish I would have bought the air box kit. Mike"

"I've only just installed K&N filters in both of our family cars, a '96 Honda Civic and a 2009 Toyota Tacoma. When next I fill the gas tank of each, I'll know whether or not the new lifetime filters have improved the fuel efficiency of our cars. The filters themselves seem very well made and I like the idea of never having to replace them again. Each car is running very well now and I'm hopeful that my miles-per-gallon will have improved. I'm hoping that K&N will develop a cold-air-intake system for my new Tacoma. It's the 2.7 liter, 4-cylinder model and a 4x4, so the smaller engine could really benefit from the power boost I've read that so many enjoy after installing such a system. Overall, I'm very pleased with AutoAnything's service and K&N's product."

"I was disappointed after putting in the K & N air filter. I usually get around 25.8 miles per gallon, but after putting the filter in and driving 264 miles (driving the same as I always do), I only averaged 24.4. The installation was not easy either. The gasket that had to be installed necessitated taking the air inlet box totally out of the car so I could get my hand(s) in to affix the gasket. I hadn't planned on that. I said a few choice words, needless to say."
