"Installed a new K&N filter in my 2008 ranger with the 4.0 V6. Overall smoother engine response at all speeds and approximately 1-2 MPG increase in fuel economy. Truck downshifts less on long grades and engine seem to make enough power now to lug its way up most grades in high gear. And, no, paper filter was not dirty. It was a brand new Motorcraft unit with only 600 miles on it. The K&N impresssed me so much I ordered another one for my Crown Vic."

"My 2006 Kia Sedona has more power with the K&N Air Filter as well as increased three miles per gallon over the stock air filter, and at the high prices of gas it will save me a lot of money over the life of the filter. Keep up the good work. Mike, Saugus MA."

"THE AIR FILTER CHANGE ON MY VEHICLE WAS A LITTLE BIT OF A CHALLENGE. THERE WASN'T ANY KIND OF INSTRUCTION WITH THE FILTER.SO I HAD TO GO ON THE INTERNET TO FIND IT. WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO INSTALL IT.SO MY ONLY ADVISE TO YOU WOULD BE TO PROVIDE THE INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE AIR FILTER."

"I have several cars and most of them have K&N air filters. The K&N filters provide a seat of the pants change in power and offer good payback if you normally replace the standard paper filters as recommended by the manufacturer. Gas mileage does improve somewhat. What I have noticed is that with paper air filters air flow decreases rather quickly while the K&N filters maintain a higher flow overall between cleaning. Since I keep my cars for a fairly long time the main motivation for me is ecomomic. I change paper air filters every 8,000 to 10,000 miles. This provides a payback period of about 2 years."

"The thing I noticed most after installing the K@N filter is the quicker throttle response. My MPH did go up almost two. That in itself will pay for the filter."

"I am satisfied with the K&N air filter. Although I am only seeing about a 1mile per gallon difference so far, I am happy for that 1 mile because with gas prices as high as they are every bit helps. I like the idea that I will never have to replace this filter & that I can just clean it when needed for the life of my vehicle."

"I recently purchased and installed a K&N Filter on my 2001 Toyota Tundra with a 4.7 liter engine. The tundra has 115000 miles on it and is highway driven daily 70 miles to and from work. The filter was easy to install and I have achieved an addtional 2 mile per gallon mileage increase. There is also a solid increase in power. I am very pleased with this product and recommend it to anyone looking to improve thier mileage per tank of fuel."

"After I installed my K&N filter on my suzuki g.vitara 2006. I felt a lot different in acceleration and first of all I am saving a lot in gas. Usually I spend around $45.00 a week, with this K&N filter I only buy $35.00 a month. So it is worthed to have one. I will suggest it to my friend and I am really will refer K&N air filter to my friend. Tom Philadelphia"

"Since installing K&N air filter, I have notice a decrease of about 2 mpg. Installation was simple and I vacuumed the air chamber box prior to installation. Not sure why the decrease in fuel economy but its there. I will keep an eye on this for a while and if nothing changes, I will probably change out plugs and boots. I am not worried about the K&N doing its job to clean the air so it stays in the car."

"I have only had it for a few weeks and I don't notice any difference in performance, especially in the improvement of gas mileage. I have checked 3 tanks and there is no difference in what I was getting before adding the filter. I think the value is in the fact you don't havfe to replace the filter as often and can simply clean it and reuse."

"I have used K&N on my F150 for years and recently purchased one from AutoAnything for my wife's 2008 Vera Cruz. We filled up the tank and took a little road trip (about 200 miles) and noticed an imediate improvement - +2mpg, or about 10% better gas mileage at highway speeds. K&N products are well made and perform as promised - I'm a customer for life."

"Though I have only had these for about a month, what I had heard from others convinced me to try the air filters for both our cars. I did not notice a huge increase in gas mileage, but horsepower and mileage did seem to increase slightly. I would buy them again and think over the life of the car, they will prove to be a wise investment."

"I purchased this drop in replacement filter for my 2007 honda fit the car has 28,000 miles on it. it was time to replace the stock filter. so I thought why not get this lifetime filter and save some money in the long run. can I tell the difference? not really, but just having it in gives me that peace of mind knowing she is breathing at her best."

"I have used K&N filters on my last four automobiles(& trucks) and have always purchased them mainly for the increase in performance, But now the main thing I need is an increase in gas mileage to help offset the ridiculously high cost of gas. K&N delivers! On a recent 2000 mile trip I noted a 2.5 mpg average increase over the stock air filter. We are talking a serious increase when gas was averaging over $4 per gallon. Oh yes,lest I forget, this increase in mpg was accompanied by an increase in performance. Thank you K&N. John, Texas"

"I've been using K&N products on all my vehicles for over 25yrs. now. There is a lot of competition out there, but you can't go wrong with the original, industry leading manufacturer, K&N. My only issue on this installon my wife's 2007 VW Passat, is those crafty Germans don't make it very easy to get to the air filter element. It takes a LOT of constant pressure to lift off the engine cover, to get at the filter element. I thought I was going to snap it into several pieces. It finally come off and I got it switched. Now we can enjoy the increased fuel economy and extra performance from that great little 2.0T intercooled Turbo 4cyl."
