"The filter installation was very easy. I now get better off the line throttle response and improved mph by abount 1 mpg. I was more interested in improved off the line throttle response than fuel improvement. Debated on CAI upgrade but decided on a K&N filter to see if I could see any difference. I am satisfied with my decision since I'm not so interested in high performance upgrades but wanted some better stop & go response. The air flow increase from K&N vs OEM filter was enough improvement for me."

Prius with K&N Air Filter

"I have a Prius 2007. I installed the air filter. First day went from 48 mpg to 53 mpg. Now I'm only getting 47.7 mpg. I have no idea why the drop. I haven't driven the car any differently. I am not sure I believe what this air filter is supposed to promise. My acceleration is the same."

"I noticed the increase in hp right after intalling the K&N filter. I have a 99 Ford escort ZX2 and I could feel the difference as the engine accellerated through the gears."

"I am absolutly happy with my filters they have made a world of difference and it has already paid for itself in 5 trips to the gas station. I would definitly recommend this to anyone with any car becasue now a days 3 miles to the gallon better is worth 40 to 70 bucks for a filter you don't have to replace."

"I had bought a K&N air filter not long ago for my 1994 Probe GT V6. Unfortunately, the speedometer broke, but I could feel the difference in acceleration immediately. It does appear the gas gauge moves more slowly now. Based on that experience I just bought another K&N filter for my wife's 2007 Hyundai Tuscan V6. They claimed the gas mileage would be between 24 and 27 mpg. With mixed driving the best she could get was 21.9 mpg. Now with the new K&N filter she is getting 24.9 in the same mixed driving! (one quarter local and three quarters highway) With gas prices being what they are this was a good investment. Mike C"

"This is at least the fourth vehicle I have installed a drop-in K&N air filter. They fit the air filter housing as good as the OEM filter, are easy to clean and maintain, and last the life of the vehicle in which they were installed. It's too early in this installation in my 2008 Mazda CX-9 to determine if there is any improvement in performance or gas mileage, but if this is anything like my past experience there certainly will not be any degradation in either due to the filter. The fact that these filters cost about three to four times as much as an original OEM filter is a little hard to take, but in the long run they are worth it."

"I had heard about your product some time ago, but was skeptical that an air filter could make as much difference as claimed. On my first tank I checked the mileage and got almost 4 miles to the gallon more than my previous tank. It also made my acceleration much better. I have a 13 year old car w/129,000 that got on average 27-28 mpg, previous tank was 27.2 mpg. After installation of my K&N, I got an amazing 30.9 mpg. Not only will this filter pay for itself, but I will never need to buy another one."

"This is my fourth vehicle to put a K&N air cleaner in. They perform better than any paper filter ever could and if you keep a car as long as I do they pay for themselves as well as give peace of mind about giving a few more horses."

"Good experience on the purchase through Autoanything. Installed the air filter 1 week ago and have not been able to see any increase results in fuel economy yet. But was easy to install and will recheck mpg's next fill up."

"I love this air filter. I got the drop in filter, not the Ram Air. Easy 3 minute installation and instant results. Doesn't need to be tuned, but I got tuned afterwards anyway. HP and torque is up and I now get 5-8 more miles per gallon of gas. I've only had it on for 2 weeks, but so far so good. I am even running my Greddy Type RS blow off valve VTA with no idle issues after filter install."
