"It's a K&N air filter so you know right off the bat you can expect improved gas mileage. (Which is clutch considering what's going on in the economy) Also you know that comes along with improved throttle response and no need to ever replace your air filter again. YOu may need a recharge after 100K miles or so. But ultimately, this is the perfect selection for the driver who demans quality and performance around every turn of the corner. Highly reccommended!"

"I have had K&N air filters in the past and was realy impressed with the performance and fuel economy, but to my surprise I have not seen the performance and fuel economy in my 2007 Ram 3500 6.7 liter diesel. I am very dissapointed in K&N with this purchase. The good thing is that I have a life time filter that will pay for it's self in about five cleanings."

"So far it hasn't caused me any problems. Haven't noticed much of a difference yet, but I haven't hit the gas station since putting it in either. Mileage still seems to be pretty good, but I was getting over 40 mpg already in my Saturn."

"My K&N is great. With the recharging package I can get more than my money's worth without throwing away paper filters. As far as the gas mileage I have not seen a dramatic overall increase in gas mileage."

"I purchased an 2008 Buick Enclave and noticed that it seemed to shift a lot, looking for the best gear. After putting in the K&N, that all stopped. It seems as if the engine/transmission match was much better. And, according to the onboard information center, I am now getting a consistant 2 MPG improvement. Not bad. With gas prices as they are, the filter will be paid for in no time."
