Description

"The filter will save time and money over the life of the car, but will probably not save any fuel costs. After about 2000 miles with the new filter, I can see no significant mpg inprovement. Take into account this is a hybrid vehicle, so I didn't really expect to see a dramatic difference."

"In my '08 Tacoma It gave me about 1 & 1/2 more miles to the gallon. I didn't feel any more performance in the motor from the gas pedal."

"I'm a car nut and very particular about how I maintain them. I've owned Corvettes, BMW 3 series including M3's, 300ZX's, Audi's, and used K&N air filters or K&N intakes on all of them. I wouldn't use any other air filter or intake. They perform as advertised and are a great value in my opinion."

"I recently put some JBA cermic/stainless headers on my 2005 GTO. The addition of the K & N filter only enhanced the performance of the car. It responds quicker and rolls through the rpm's like it is running in NASCAR. The only difference being I have to turn right occasionaly. The car feels like it gets a fresh breath with every stroke. I also like the fact that I can clean it and reuse it. I don't know how long it will take to recover the cost but I will let you know. Until then, Thanks."

"I've used K&N Air Filters before, they are a little pricey, but for the longevity, they are well worth the money. The biggest hassle is the time it takes to clean and dry them. I consider a swap service if the price was right."

"Mostly noticed a small boost in power in the top end, especially nice when pulling loads up and down hills on the highway. Saw little improvement in mpg maybe 1 mpg."

"The K&N Air Filter was very easy to install. It took me less than 10 minutes from the time I started to remove the screw on the air filter compartment. I just returned home from a fishing trip to Central British Columbia. My pickup has more power and does not work as hard to get to cruising speed as it previously did before I installed tne new K&N Air Filter. I am now waiting to see if my fuel consumption improves. The fact that the K&N Air Filter is permanent, will save me money by not having to purchase regular air filters. So, as far as I am concerned I am already ahead even if the fuel consumption does not improve. Thank you for the easy to follow instructions!!! Clarence "

"My purchase of my first K&N air filter was in 1977. Back then K&N specialized in motorcycles exclusively. I owned a 1977 Yamaha RD 350. After the installation I re-jetted the carburetors from the 105 stock to 140's. That might give you an indication of the increased air flow. I have been a believer in K&N filters ever since then. The first thing in a new vehicle purchase. is to replace the stock filter with a K&N. Price quality and performance can not be beat. Thanks"

"K & N MAKES A GOOD PRODUCT. IT HELPED INCREASE MY GAS MILEAGE ON A RECENT TRIP BY ABOUT 5 PERCENT. BUT I CANT HELP FEELING THE PRICE AT FOUR TIMES THE OEM FILTER, IS A LITTLE HIGH ALTHOUGH WITH FUEL PRICES WHAT THEY ARE TH EPRICE DIFFFERANCE WILL WORK IT SELF OUT. "I have been useing the K&N in my 1975 VW beetle for a couple months or so .I only drive this vehicle to work and back--therefore the mileage remains constant, with the gas comsumption varying slightly according to traffic conditions. I have noticed a definite improvement in mpg in the order of 4 - 5 miles. I find that it was worth it thus far."

"When I found out through a friend about the K&N air filter I quickly purchased one for myself and I have been amazed by the fuel savings and how much more power I have in my truck.
