"This filter definitely would give any car a little more pep, I just replaced my filter in a 2000 Maxima and the difference is phenomenal. Acceleration has improved and so has gas mileage. Definitely worth it! not to mention the fact it is reusable! Highly Recommended!"

K&N Filters should come as stock equipment!

"After spending more time than I had hoped, for the wrx engine compartment is rather crowded, I installed the K&N panel filter. Of not, my vehicle is completely stock. Man, what a difference! To quote many before me, it felt like I have been towing another car behind me and someone cut the chain! More acceleration, higher power at lower revs, and I'm finally achieving 13 or so psi of boost, about double what I was getting before. I have noticed no real change in mpg but the engine just feels less restricted. I would recommend this to everyone, especially wrx enthusiasts."

"Installed in 2 minutes. Fit perfect and it was already oiled. Maybe a slight gain in hp around 3-6 rpms. A more throaty intake noise on acceleration."

"If you look on the K&N box, you will see that if you have a flat filter, it is already pretty good and the K&N doesn't help much. The K&N is most useful if you have a round or cone filter.
In my application with a large flat filter, I didn't notice any difference. It is still nice to be able to wash and re-use."
