More and more people are going with lifetime reusable Green Air Filters. And, that's leaving OEM and other aftermarket air filters, well, green with envy.
It's not just the handsome looks or the refined European styling that's attracting attention. The Green Air Filter simply traps more dirt, fits better and has greater airflow than the competition. And that translates to more power, longer engine life and better fuel economy.
Green Filters uses two layers of woven cotton. The first layer boasts a medium knit that traps bigger chunks of engine-choking filth. The second features a super-fine weave that captures particles down to 5 microns.
The fabric is deeply pleated to create more dirt-snagging surface area. A stiff, green-toned stainless steel mesh protects the cotton filter medium, so Green Filters last virtually forever. The special hand-molded rubber base creates an airtight seal with your filter box keeping the muck out. Backed by a lifetime warranty. Go Green!

I read about the use of these filters and watched several videos online, as well. I decided to pick up one from AutoAnything since they had the lowest price I could find. The install of the filter was very straightforward and you can hear the induction sounds much, much better than before. Over all I'm very pleased with my purchase and I would recommend it to anyone interested in a simple filter swap.

I grew up using K&N until I purchased one for an Audi S4. It sealed so poorly I took it back. The parts guy asked if I had ever tried a Green filter. I got one the fit and seal was very impressive. This is the only brand I use now. I have one in all the vehicles I own.

I really like the quality of the filter. I haven't checked my gas mileage bit my car seems to breath better causing my 2013 Chevy Cruze to have a little more pick up.

First of all, it fits better than the original Motorcraft (or whatever brand) filter was in there. The boost in performance is noticeable. My old filter wasn't really dirty; I just knew I wanted to engine to breathe better, and man does it. Much more effortless torque and acceleration, and the idle is so smooth and quiet now. I would put this filter on a par with changing the oil in your engine and your transmission to really nice synthetic oils, maybe better. My Explorer runs like new.
