Green Air Filters Customer Reviews

More and more people are going with lifetime reusable Green Air Filters. And, that's leaving OEM and other aftermarket air filters, well, green with envy.
It's not just the handsome looks or the refined European styling that's attracting attention. The Green Air Filter simply traps more dirt, fits better and has greater airflow than the competition. And that translates to more power, longer engine life and better fuel economy.
Green Filters uses two layers of woven cotton. The first layer boasts a medium knit that traps bigger chunks of engine-choking filth. The second features a super-fine weave that captures particles down to 5 microns.
The fabric is deeply pleated to create more dirt-snagging surface area. A stiff, green-toned stainless steel mesh protects the cotton filter medium, so Green Filters last virtually forever. The special hand-molded rubber base creates an airtight seal with your filter box keeping the muck out. Backed by a lifetime warranty. Go Green!

seems to be a very good quality product I have noticed my truck doesn't seem to be struggling to breath and has a little more pep haven't noticed any better fuel mileage but that's probably my own fault I have a bit of a heavy foot all in all good filter bought one for the car too.

One reason I bought the Green Filter over the K&N is because the Green Filter is made in the USA. The other reason, I was curious about the sound factor. It sounds really cool when you mash the throttle, but isn't obnoxious. It can be annoying at times, but is mostly not even noticable

Filter drops right in place with no adjustments necessary. The lid fits securely back over the new filter. With the minor change in design, it is clear that the filter sucks in air more quickly. The sound is neat as well. With the hood open and factory air box lid off, it is pretty loud. I have the lid on at this time and the sound is much quieter and very nice/mellow. I can't hear the filter with the radio at avg. volume. As a daily driver, I have noticed a 1-1.5mpg increase.

So far on my 2010 chevy Silverado with V-6 vortex ,it sounds a little more throaty an I van tell cruising at 35-45 mph ,rpm is 7-8 grand it used to b 11-12 grand an at 55-60 its 13-14 grand instead of 16-18 ,havnt been able to check increase in mpg. Yet cause of just local driving an been warming up cause since I've had it ,its been very cold here in Ohio ,below zero to 20's degrees ,but will ck. Back when I take a good cruise I'm hoping an sure my mileage will b even better!!!

I ordered the Green filter for my Focus ST because I had heard such great things about it on the Focusst.org forums. It is a high performance filter that flows well without giving up filtering. It's nice to hear the intake sound and the bypass valve better after install. Install was super easy and it fit perfectly.
