Worth every penny

"This is an EZ, DIY, no-brainer IMO. Beats having to replace the cheap OEM filters regularly. It'll be 2 years before I have to clean it, then I get to forget it again. I actually felt a slight boost from the better air flow too!"

"I have only had my filter in for about two tanks of gas but I do believe that I am getting about 10-20% better gas mileage. I do not know about other customers but my filter was a bit of a b@$%h to put in and wound up with scuffed knuckles. I think I am getting more power out of the car as a result of the AFE filter but will follow up later once I put new spark plugs and cables on the car."

2006 F350 6.0L Diesel

"Recieved product with wrong installation instruction. Had mechanic spend 2 hours fighting tight install(not much room in the diesels). Called manufacture and was able to get simple trick and installed myself in 30 minutes. Definately noticed small gain in power approximately 10HP. Not much in fuel economy maybe .5 mpg, but I tow 2500lbs 80% of the time. I definately wouldn't go back to stock and am more than happy."

My AFE Air Filter was the Most impressive item for my 06 Sierra HD. I put it to the test, and I was impressed and relieved that my Sierra responded better with the AFE Air Filter. I'm a believer in AFE Air Filters, gotta find one for my 99 Goldwing SE."

F-250 S.D. Diesel

"I received the replacement air filter element and, after looking at it, I was confused as to how it was to be installed. The instructions offered no help. It required a call to AFE to confirm what I thought - the original housing needed to have a paper element removed and then the AFE filter would be installed backwards in to the original housing - backwards to what I was used to. The filter acts as a basket - not a cone. After the call I got the correct info from AFE and the installation went well. The element has made a great increase in the throttle response and about 1 mpg increase. Except for the rather vague installation instructions this is a GREAT DEAL!"

"Replaced a new stock filter with the AFE filter and noticed a large increase in low end torque. My mileage also has increased by a half mile per gallon consistently for 3000 miles."

"At first i was a bit sceptical about buying a "Better Stock Air Filter". But..after installing an AFE Air Filter in my 2003 Dodge Cummins in the stock air box, I am now a firm believer. The throttle response is better and the truck seems to run a bit smoother. Thanks"

"I installed my air filter in my 530i and immediately noticed a difference. Not only does the exhaust sound deeper due to better air flow but the accleration seems smoother and im sure it will obtain better gas milage as well!"

Easy Upgrade

"High quality compared to K&N. I put it into a big diesel so the power gain is not as noticeable as a smaller gas engine. I did notice a little smoother response. It has to be less restrictive than stock which had a paper filter plus gauze."
