AFE Pro-Dry S air filter on 2006 Silverado 2500HD 4x4 6.0

"The filter fit and finish is superb. Just looking at the filter compared to other filters you can tell it is designed for performance and more MPG.
After installing the filter I noticed an immediate sound difference in the exhaust and the seat of the pants dyno was telling me it was a winner.
I have increased .4 tenths of a mile per gallon. I would recommend this filter to everyone wanting more MPG and performance."

No oil mess and better filtration

"I've noticed better acceleration going up hills going from Vegas to LA and back. These are pretty steep inclines that last for a few miles. With the oem filter the engine would rev a lot higher and louder, but on my last trip it seemed a lot smoother. The filter is also rated to be better at filtration than the oiled ones, but also suck in less air. But I think it's a good balance. They can be cleaned with just soapy water."

"My car is a stock 2002 BMW M5 with 39K miles on it. No modification at all. After installing the AFE Pro-Dry S Air Filters, I could not feel the difference. Perhaps the increase was very little (2-5 HP) so with the output already at 394HP unless the gain is a lot, it'd be hard to feel the difference.
Tks,
Tony"

"Used the drop in filter replacement instead of the Cold Air System, wanted to keep the factory look (has factory inner fender intake) Did notice slightly larger growl under acceleration, but a Cold Air would make a bigger difference due to the relatively small size of this filter."

Great bargain on better fuel economy

"I've had the pro dry filter in the truck two weeks and have gotten 23mpg mainly highway driving, which is good for me, and I've gotten 380 mi with an eigth of a tank left. Also, it seems like the fuel economy can get a little better if I watch my speed."

AFE Pro-Dry for 2000 - Audi A4

"Overall the quality of the AFE is excellent, like the standard AFE that uses oil. Rubber (silicone?) gasket is great, and filter element is also great. Seems to be a bit more restrictive then the oiled AFE or K&N but is working out great so far. Has been installed for approximately 2 weeks."

"Very high quality that one would expect from an American company. Exact fit in my Y2K MC SS. I like the idea of a cleanable lifetime "dry" versus throw-away "landfill" filter. For the price of 4 throw-aways a person can have not only a lifetime filter, but a filter that cleans better and allows the engine to "breathe". Time will tell whether I get better fuel economy. I notice greater torque on acceleration."

"Product works well and is direct drop in replacement for my 2005 Corvette. I've had other brands that add oil, and think this will work better.
Packaging was unclear and seemed to cover multiple vehicles, which required follow up phone call for confirmation, other then that good."

Best new air filter to come out in 100 years!

"I love this filter. I get the air flow of a K&N without the messy oil. No fear of sensor contamination and its easier to clean. It's very well constructed, just like a K&N. It will save me tons of money on air filters over the life of my vehicle. Now if they could make a washable oil filter?..."
