Specter Air for better gas milage.

"I purchased a specter air filter for my wife's 2005 suburban in hopes that it would help her gas milage. This air filter coupled with Mobil 1 engine oil helped increase our gas milage by at least 3 mpg. This gas savings was figured on a 12 hour round trip and city driving. I was very pleased. Thank you Auto Anything."

Great filter, but a minor fitment issue

"I use it in my 06 Nissan 350z. Overall the Spectre filter is good. I can tell there is little improve on the gas mileage, however I can't feel any hp gain. Anyway, I don't expect to gain hp by using the filter. There is a minor fitment issue that the Spectre filter is slightly thicker than the stock filter. It made a bit difficult to close the cover after installed the new filter."

"I bought the spectre filter for a 04 tundra with the 3.4 v6, and right off the bat I noticed better gas mileage,, It was half the price of th K&N.... All in all for the price I wiil definitly buy one for the wifes truck..."

"I replaced my paper air filter with a Spectre air filter and felt the difference right away in the midrange of my car.I also gained about 2 mpg.That's pretty good for a car that already gets 31 mpg. I would highly recommend these air filters."

"I would highly recommend this replacement filter. I went from getting 15 to 16 miles per gallon on my 2008 4.6 V8 Ford F-150 XLT Supercrew to 18.7 miles on the very first tank full. You can definitly feel a power change also."

"The installation was a snap, good fit. I have noticed a bit of increase in mid-range power. I haven't had time yet to compare the gas mileage, but i'm only on my second tank of gas. So far I think it's better. Good investment."

"Seems to be of good quality compared to stock filters and at least as good as previously purchased K-N filters. Priced much better than the K-N brand though. Would highly recommend this filter instead of. Delivery was very quick too."

"Quality is good. It's K&N like. I put about 5K miles a year on it, So I will end up oiling it every time I change the motor oil, and cleaning it once a year. Performance? It's an air filter on a 6 cylinder SUV. :))"
