"For all you doubters this set-up is legit. I had a Brute force intake on my truck, and just installed this one on my wifes charger. You get instant power and our mpgs went through the roof. And, the kicker is we probably drove WORSE than before just to see what it could do. The best mileage I have seen out of the charger in towm was around 16.5. Yesterday I was averaging 18.9 running premium. Keep in mind that is at 5200 feet, as we live in Wyoming. To add to the performance gains you will notice a new growl coming out of the engine compartment as well as a nice air sucking hiss on occasion when you hammer down on the throttle... Fact is, I will install an AEM Brute force intake on EVERY new vehicle I buy."

"Well, being a novice at best when it comes to all things mechanics, I found the install of the AEM Brute Force intake to be fairly easy.. Given my experience level, I gave it an "Excellent" because I was actually able to pull it off without assistance. The performance is astounding.. When I first fired it up, I found that there was a little left to be desired, but after I took it out on the freeway, it really woke up the engine. I haven't had it long enough, so I cannot make claims about fuel economy, but I do feel the difference in the pedal.. This is a great upgrade for the Money and Autoanything.com was great."

"I purchased the Brute force intake after reviewing many brands for my truck. I liked the idea of the dry element, and as posted out performs the oil type. They did say I should see an increase in milage, yes I did however it was minimal, from 19.9 to 20.5. Also after the install I noticed my on board computer milage calculator is way off?? The unit fits very well, is well built and looks cool! I love it! Thanks!"

"This was a very easy install. Nothing to it and no experience necessary. The result is unknown. It sounds great, like I beefed up my truck. I do notice better acceleration. My first 150 miles did not show any increase in MPG though. So I'm not sure what to think. If it makes the engine more efficient in any way or adds to the life of the engine then it will have been worth it. I'll know more when I have to clean it. I guess I'll weigh the cost of the cleaning kit against the cost of the paper filter I won't have to buy."

"the brute force intake took about 20 to 30 min to install, real quick and easy. mounts directly to the stock screw points. it adds a diesel like growl at anything over 2k rpms. there's a noticeable difference in acceleration from the get go and in higher rpms. very nice, i would defiantly recommend it to anyone."

"Install was very easy. It took me about 45 minutes with my 4 year old son "helping" me! On the Titan, the sleeve that joins the intake to the throttle body is a little narrow. So I had to adjust the placement of it to more of the intake and less on the throttle body to prevent it slipping off the connection. Other than that one issue, the intake has been great! No MPG increase in town, but on the highway it went up 3 MPG. If your towing anything big, it definitely helps out. I tow a 34 foot travel trailer that weighs 9,000 lbs. It wasn't an issue before the install, but now there is definitely no worries!"

"i installed the intake on my 06 gmc Z71, i already had a bully dog tuner and was getting 19 on the highway i installed the intake and noticed no real difference in power or pick up, i did get right at 22 mpg though on a trip i usually got 17 before the intake and tuner w/, it does make the engine louder as more air is coming in i guess but with no lose in power and a gain in mpg its a worthy investment"

"This is a great product. This is the 3rd vehicle that I've installed an AEM Brute Force intake on. They've all performed wonderfully. I've noticed a slight increase in fuel economy, and low end power. The largest noticeable differences are that it looks great, and when accelerating you can hear a larger 'growl'. A friend of mine said it sounds almost as though I've got a Flowmaster exhaust installed as well, though I still have my stock exhaust! Installation was pretty easy, except on the Ram the inner fender well needed to be remove inorder to gain access to a couple of bolts, this proved to be challenging."
