Haven't checked the milege yet but i can really notice better performance if you are thinking of buying one for your 360 quite thinking and buy it. "I have enjoyed my intake which I installed on a 2003 Chevy 2500hd with a BigBlock 8.1.It installed in about 30mins and was easy to do.Perfomance as for gas mileage is the same as stock. But the response in acceleration is alot better then stock.I think the intake is overpriced but a nice add-on."

AEM Brute Force Air Intakes
Posted on 05/01/2007 by Paul W. - 2003 Dodge Ram (San Diego,CA)
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
"This thing is just awesome. Throttle response, power and mph are much better. I probably get another 30 to 40 miles out of a tank of gas. Install was pretty easy. You need to remove the passenger side wheel and well liner to get the stock air box out which slows the install, but other than that, it goes pretty quickly. The only other mod I have on my truck is a Magna Flow catback dual exhaust. I highly recommend this set up on the Hemi."

"Very hard to find upgrades for 2500 8.1. Autoanything has all the upgrades I am looking for. Great price,my 4 year old daughter helped me put it on and no problems. Corrected my MAF problem from K&N Filter. Would recommend to anyone with a Chevy. Also corrected my trans-shifting,very smooth now. Oil-less is the way to go.Big difference in power,no change in gas milage, but what would you expect with a big block. Thanks Autoanything.
Mike"

"Installed the AEM Brute Force Intake in my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. I could tell the torque increase right away. In addition, I took it for a drive that I do regularly and was happy with saving a couple dollars. I t will pay it self off ibn the next month with all the driving I do. The intake gives the engine a sexy sound. No need for aftermarket exhaust, this does it all.."

"Surprisingly easy to install. GREAT step-by-step instructions w/ photos made it simple and the whole process took about 1/2hr. Engine ran smoothly after install and I noticed a little extra "ooomph" on take-off and when accelerating which is quite nice since I pull a 5,000lb trailer most of the time. I hope the gas mileage improvements are as others state, but it'll take a while to find out. I feel it was well worth the money and recommend this product to anyone wanting a little extra power!"

AEM Intake for 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK
Posted on 04/18/2007 by Corbett H. - 2007 Jeep Wrangler (Walnut Creek,CA)

"Seems to have better throttle response. The intake makes a pleasing noise when you jump on the gas. Unfortunately, it does introduce a whistle (sounds like a squeeling belt) which is not so pleasant.
-Install was easy.
-Poor location of the sensor port.
-Heat shield is not adequate IMO.
-Still not sold on the metal tube –vs- plastic which is a better insulator.
-Polished aluminum will rub on the hood insulation and scuff."

"Fits like stock in my '07 JK, only took about 1/2 hour to install. After we put it in ,we took my jeep for a ride. Right off the bat you could tell the difference. I under-reved fourth gear (down to about 700rpm), just gave it gas and the jeep took off. No sputtering or balking. Sounds good at about 3k rpm getting on the freeway. The best thing is my gas mileage. Went from 14-16 to 18-20. Got 22 on the freeway. It will pay for itself."
