"The AEM Brute Force is worth every penny. The install was quick and easy. It would have been even quicker had i not misplaced a washer. It gives a nice roar between 4000 and 5000 rpm on my 07 JK."

"The quality, fit and finish on this product is top notch. I don't know about the exact HP increases but this combined with a Superchip tuner definitely makes a F150 5.4 come alive. Don't know if I having better mileage yet because it's so much fun gassing it."

"I have had my filter for about two weeks and I love it. You can hear the turbo spool up and I get a little better fuel econemy as well. Best of all, I never have to pay for another paper filter not to mention the looks. Install took about 20 min. Product is highly recomended."

2006 Jeep Rubicon

Posted on 04/12/2007 by Brian O. - 2006 Jeep Wrangler (Rancho Sahuarita,AZ)

"After installing a 4" lift and larger, wider tires I was looking for an upgrade to add a little juice to the 4.0L but didn't want to spend a ton of money (yet). I read a lot of reviews and chose the Brute Force. I did notice an immediate improvement in performance; not sure if it equates to the 7% to 15% HP increase that is advertised. But I can say the engine seems to "inhale" a lot smoother, and even tho I didn't hook up a bunch of expensive dyno testers I can say without a doubt that, using the onboard tac and speedometer, I reach my normal shift RPMs (3000 - 3200 with 6 spd standard) with a lot less gas pedal input and cruising in 5th gear the engine responds much quicker and stronger when I step on it a little. To me that says the engine's performance is improved. I haven't checked my gas mileage yet, will do that on my next day trip. Now, I'm not sure what draw backs I might run into with the filter getting mucked up or clogged as I get into the rough stuff off road, so I've kept my factory intake and filter box just in case this one doesn't work out. But I also taped up all of the other mount holes on the inside of the fender where the factory box was removed. This will keep the front tire from kicking more dirt up into the filter. Overall, it works great, the exhaust sounds richer and stronger, and the installation was a breeze -- took about 30 minutes and I was doing the test drive."

"I instaled the brute force air intake on my zr2 s10 and it made my 4.3 litre v6 run like a v8. Also the other thing is before i instaled the system my truck would not do a burnout after i put the system on i had to buy new tires. In short great product easy to install worth every penny."

Bad ATS plan

Posted on 04/03/2007 by James L. - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Vacaville,CA)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"I am over all happy with the product and I am sure it will bring all the performance as advertised. I found the ATS (Air Temp Sensor) hard to install and think this should be addressed. It was an extreemly tight fit and there wasn't any further information, other than to install it with the provided gromet. Also at the end of the instructions it said to tighten all the remaining bolts that were removed but it wasn't specific. I can see where someone might miss something."

Great product

Posted on 04/02/2007 by Stephen T. - 2007 Jeep Wrangler (Locust Grove,VA)

"Simple install - great sound under the hood. A little whistle with around-town acceleration, but at full throttle it really roars. 1-2 MPG improvement in mileage. Be careful with the clip that secures the IAT sensor when you remove it from the stock intake tube...it can easily break! Be patient and follow the directions."

"I have had the system installed for approx. 3 weeks and it's great. I haven't noticed much gas mileage savings yet but the sound and throttle response are great. It woke up the HEMI BEAST! It did take me about 3 hours due to a missing nut but otherwise pretty easy to install."

2.8L Canyon Brute Force Intake

Posted on 03/27/2007 by Craig B. - 2005 GMC Canyon (Lansing,MI)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"The installation took about one hour. I was impressed with fit and finish. The two small clamps for the smaller hose were a pain because they were such a tight squeeze to get on. The truck feels more powerful in the high RPM band and sounds alot tougher there also. Gas mileage looks like it will be slightly better. I would buy this product again."

AEM Brute Force for 2007 Jeep Wrangler

Posted on 03/13/2007 by William W. - 2007 Jeep Wrangler (Marlton,NJ)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"The directions are horrible. I like the product though! It sounds great; I have not noticed any increase in mileage yet though. Then again, that may be because I like how it sounds when I step on it. If you buy this, put the Rubber Grommet into the tube and then install the air sensor BEFORE you put it on the vehicle. Otherwise you might be pulling it off several times because it keeps falling into the tube."

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.

"2002 Toyota Tundra glad i purchased this intake. sounds amazing, truck takes off quicker, and my fuel mileage has gone up considerably. installation was really vague, but still not hard at all to install. one thing i wish they told you is to assemble the entire intake and its components ahead of installation. took me about 45 minutes to install, could of been 25 if i had taken this advice. my city mpg has increased by 2 and my highway mpg has increased by 4mpg. all i could do is smile for about a week after installation."

Commander Hemi

Posted on 03/09/2007 by Matthew Y. - 2006 Jeep Commander (Lincoln,NE)

"This is the first modification to my Jeep Commander. The sound is amazingly loud and rumbling when you step on the gas but maintains a quite idle. I did get an increase in gas mileage (1-2 mpg). Installation was easy but instructions were incomplete (an extra screw on the stock airbox to remove, requires washer tank to be placed out of the way). Well worth the price."
