"i got this for my 04 colorado with the 5.3, it doesent feel all that different when normal driving. when you go to wide open throtle is when you feel and hear this badboy. it growls like a bear. thanx autoanything for getting it out to me lightning fast"

2006 Nissan Frontier

"This is a good intake if you don't want to worry about the oil from an oiled filter messing up the mass air flow sensor. The product I recieved was labled "for automatic transmissions only" when I clearly ordered the part number for the manual. Turns out there is no difference and I was able to install the kit the same day that I recieved it. It took me about an hour start to finnish. The only problems I ran into were that the intake tube was bent slightly at the throtle body connection(poor packing), and the 5/8 hose connector was missing from the parts bag."

"The AEM Brute Force Air Intake System makes a world of difference, I noticed that I have better MPG, a little bit more power, I also found that I run higher rpm's, which has given my truck better acceleration, if your looking for a good Air Intake System, the top of the line AEM Brute Force is the way to go..."

Easy install

"The install was very easy, took less than an hour in the driveway. Throttle response seems better, and has a great sound, only downfall is that I tend to step in it more now, so my milage went down, don't expect milage gains with this product, but definately a good upgrade."

"The AEM Brute Force struck me when I first saw it in the box, wow. Step-by-step instructions are accurate and easy to follow. The fit and finish are first class. When I opened up my 2005 Nissan Frontier V-6 (only when it’s proper) for the first time with the AEM, the acceleration hit above 4200 RPM is a rush. The Brute Force intake adds an awesome intake resonance that is simple mind blowing. Definitely add this to you short list of upgrades."

"The AEM Brute Force is probably the best accesory that has been added to my 2000 Chevy Silverado. I got huge gains in power and throttle response. I also got 2.5 mpg better. I would probably get more but I floor it everywhere I go. :) AutoAnything delivered it quickly and I got a great deal!"

"Makes my Xterra sound like a totally different beast. Throttle response is quicker and there seems to be some more pull at higher RPMS. With the dry filter, you would have to worry about getting your MAF covered in oil."

Brute Force HOT!!

"I had a 1995 Jeep Grand Cher 5.2L and had installed a K&N cool air system on it. This gave me a great point of view for comparison. Now I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cher Limited 5.7L HEMI. I had no expectations that the Brute Force Air system would turn this quiet, demure, dirt kicker into such an animal. The front of the Jeep literally lifts slightly on take-offs and after 2500rpm, growls like the MGM lion. Ala, 1970s and the real GTO that I had in 1967. Besides looking great, what I bought it for, the overall performance is noticeably enhanced. Love IT! Mileage?? HEMI V8 drivers don't ofter care about mileage. THAT is NOT! the point of this engine. Easy install inspite of two major mounting bolts (part of the original airbox) that were not mentioned that had to be removed. And, two foam insulating strips (they had NO install instr,) that I had to find a place for them. I did! Overall - 5 Star."

"TOOK THE ENTIRE GTO 06 SYSTEM OFF, AND WAS ON THE FINAL INSTALLATION OF THE AEM 8020 KIT TO FIND OUT THEY ENCLOSED THE WRONG FILTER...LOST MANY HOURS OF TIME AND WAS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED. DANNY"

"After having this intake on my truck for about a month now I have not noticed any gain in MPG and no gain in everyday driving. However, after approx. 4000 rpm I can definetely tell the truck is breathing much better than with the stock intake. The quality and fit of this product is top notch and had no trouble with 20 min. install."

"I love the system. The directions where great. The only problem I ran into is that they did not provide me with enough 1/2" breather hose to connect from the Cold Air Intake to my Valve Cover. Otherwize, the directions where outstanding. I can feel the extra HorsePower, but didn't get as much of a MPG gain as i was hoping for. At most I've gotten a 1.5-2 MPG gain. My exhaust sounds awesome now that I have the cold air intake. Thanks AEM"

"This kit is well made and simple to install. I definately noticed an increase in throttle response and power. Not having to oil the filter is nice also. It saves you time in not having to re-oil the filter and not having to clean that oil off of the mass air sensor. I definately recomend getting this intake."
