Wow! Makes a difference

Posted on 12/26/2006 by Keith P. - 2005 Nissan Titan (Crestview,FL)

"I bought this for my son's 2005 Nissan Titan truck. Installed it in a couple of hours on Christmas day. We took it for a test drive afterward and "WOW", what a difference it made in engine sound and power. I never thought an "air filter" change would do that, but with the larger, unobstructed design of the tubing and the isolation from heat, the difference was quite noticable. Plus, it looks great too!"

Posted on 12/12/2006 by Mike M. - 1999 Chevy Silverado (Branford,CT)

"I looked into numerous air intakes ( probably everyone out there ) and I decided to purchase the AEM. The main reason is because of its dry flow technology. The install was very simple and the gains were great. It has more power thru the rpm range and compliments my other upgrades ( dual exhaust and hypertech ). Auto Anything had the best price and I would do buisness again with them in the future."

Dont know if its worth it

Posted on 11/24/2006 by Matt L. - 2005 Dodge Ram (Beaver Falls,PA)

"Had to modify my heatshield because it was pushing the hood up almost an inch. The other think is I have to reset my Filter indicator every time I pull 38 psi boost. Not very happy."

"I ordered AEM Brute Force AIS for my Supercharged F-150. I got the Best Price at AutoAnything. It came within a few days w/free shipping. It came complete w/tools and I installed in less than 1 hour. I didn't connect the engine to a dyno yet, but I can feel the extra power/torque and my fuel mpg went up about 1 mpg. Where's the HEMI's at now!"

Easy and Great

Posted on 11/02/2006 by Mark G. - 2002 Jeep Wrangler (Rushville,IN)

"The AEM Brute Force intake is super easy to install (1 hour or less) and looks great under the hood. You can definitely hear the engine sucking the air now and I can feel a significant difference in acceleration. It even changed the sound of the exhaust I have, making the engine sound more throaty and opened up. Would recommend to anyone who wants a cold air intake for their vehicle!!!"

this intake rocks

Posted on 11/01/2006 by Adam B. - 2001 Chevy S10 Pickup (Rockwell,NC)

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.

"when i purchased the intake it was to be fedexed to my house by tuesday, but autoanything had fast and accurated service and it arrived at my door the thursday before. it took me and my dad bout 2 hours to take off my old intake and install the new one. the directions that came with the intake are the best directions i have every read. every thing was in the exact location and the pictures helped out. the zip tie that came with it was too short for my ac line and radiator hose but that was easily fixed. this product fit perfectly. after installing and driving on the interstate my check engine light came on which is the only bad thing bout this the IAT sensor (stock) does not have enough voltage but will not cause a problem mechanically. hoever, you need to replace the sensor before you next inspection."

AEM Brute Force Intake: 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Posted on 10/26/2006 by Robin D. - 2004 Jeep Wrangler (Prattville,AL)

"Easy to install (less than 40-minutes). Looks excellent under the hood. Noticeable power increase though not quantifiable by feel alone. However,it did not help fuel efficiency even when intentionally avoiding putting your foot on the gas. Decreased MPG by approximately 0.5 MPG. Overall, I'm please with the product, but was hoping to see MPG go the other direction slightly."
