"Easy installation with good instructions, including pictures and diagrams. The fit between the fender liner and air filter is very tight which will make it difficult to remove for cleaning later on. Overall a very good looking product but for the money other intakes may be a better value."

"i have enjoyed having this intake on my truck. It does give it the extra power you want or the gas mileage(when my foots not in the floor). All in all it is a good intake system and it took me about an hour to install."

"I thought the install of my AEM Brute Force intake was easier than I thought. About 3 days later my check engine light came on and I thought it was the intake causing the problem but, it wasn't. It ended up being my ECM and camshaft position sensor so I got it fixed. Since then everything has been fixed and having the Brute Force has made a change in my fuel mileage and I noticed a little extra power under the hood. I love it and its dryflow air filter. Autoanything was a big help in purchasing this product also.

"The AEM Brute Force air intake has improved the power and torque of my 2005 GMC Canyon. It has brought the power range down a little into the lower RPM's which was what I wanted. It has also helped with fuel mileage."

"I recieved the intake without incident. I really like the finish and overall quality. The only thing keeping it from an excellent rating is the fact that the main intake tube doesn't interface with the throttle body intake very well. AEM relies on the silicone sleeve to seal things up. This works pretty well, but it could have interfaced a little better without much of an increase in manufacturing cost.
As for performance, I really notice the difference at highway speeds and when accelerating hard. The truck seems to require less throttle to keep speed. And when taking off...wow. Get the engine above 3000 RPM and it really roars (flowmaster duals already on truck). Throttle response seems a little snappier as well. Overall, very satisfied."

"Overall this was a well made piece. Everything fit together very well and the entire system was installed in 45 minutes.
The good:
High end torgue (3,000RPM and up) substantially improved. Increased noise of the vehicle.
More good news:
Unlike some other reviewers, I had no idle problems the truck. I also never saw a check engine light come on. Within 20 miles the ECM had adjusted itself to the new airflow and I had no issues.
The bad:
The noise was not a good tone. The truck sounded like a boat motor after install. Seriously, by the time I hit 3,000 RPMs I thought I was driving a 2 stroke engine. Low end torque was substantially decreased. This is a common problem with open CAIs but it was way too much of a drop for me. I'm glad the HP difference existed at 3,000 RPMs but most driving is done at around 2,000.
I ended up taking it off within 3 days and selling it (return policy does not include installed items)."

"I heard about this product from a friend at work, so upon his recomendation I wanted to try the Brute Force myself, and since I wanted a cold-air system for my 3.5 V-6 this seem to be the way to go. Well I'll tell you what, It works! I can feel the differance the minute I drove my car to the store. Everytime I get on it I can feel it there. Now on my next long trip we'll see what the differance in milage they say I'll get. All and all, I recomend the Brute Force to a anyone wanting to feel an increase in power!!

"Received the unit at the expected delivery date. Installation was easy after reading all instructions several times. The entire job took about 45 minutes. The throttle body fit is a little off, not fitting snugly on the plate, but not by much. My butt dyno tells me there is more horsepower in the stock 5.2L 318 with 165000 miles on it and counting. I can feel the increase pick up while accelerating to freeway speed. Jumping on the passing gear is more responsive than before. To early to determine any fuel economy plus or minus. The 94 Grand Cherokee Limited is a daily driver and occasional weekend round tripper. I plan on adding a Borla Cat Back system soon, hoping for a little more rumble from the AEM. Overall, nice fit and finish, looks cool, easy to install, engine more responsive. I would recommend to others."

"The aem brute force intake increased response by 800 to 1000 rpms before the tranny shifted out of first from a standing start. Don't know about fuel milage yet. Looks better than stock and breathes better too, went from a 2 inch opening to 3 and a half."

"The AEM Brute Force is great. The Brute Force system is well built and was designed specifically for my application. The directions were complete and step by step. This is the first time I've ever installed one of these and it took me about an hour and 45 minutes. I noticed immediately the sound of the increased air flow and the increased throttle response. Actually I think it made my duals louder. I can't help but smile when I put my foot on the gas and hear that sound. I have burned one tank of gas since install of the product and I have seen 1.9 mpg improvement from last fill up. Hopefully when I stop putting my foot into it to hear it the mpg will improve more. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. I was always concerned about the CAI filters that you had to oil, but with this filter you don't have that concern. This thing looks great under the hood. I couldn't ask for more."
