"I went from a Volant to the AEM. The AEM isnt a sealed design but it flows air better. Plus the added benefits of the dry filter media make it worry free. AEM is a very reptuable company and knows intakes."

"Performance and throttle response has been improved. As for fuel mileage, not so much. I also installed a Banks monster exhaust system along with the Brute Force air intake. If your only buying this product for improved fuel mileage I wouldn't do it. Best I could get and this is all from the trucks on board MPG computer is 16.0 on interstate and 5.5-5.6 around town."

"I purchased this AEM to complete the intake/exhaust upgrade as recommended by various sources. I pair this AEM intake witht the Volant exhaust and here are the results. 1. The exhaust note now is less aggressive than when the Volant was with the factory air box. 2. MPG was not improved at all. I drive mostly highway at 70 - 75 crusing speed and average 18 - 19 MPG with factory stuffs and same now with the upgrades. My personal opinion is that if you want the rumble, just upgrade the exhaust and done with that. For a 6000 lbs beast, the extra 10 - 20 HP increased (if there was ever any) did not do much in term of improving performance. If you want to upgrade your Titan, spend the money on upgrading the sway bars (front and rear) and tires. I did. The truck rode a lot better than stock."

Its just hard when your driveing and punch it cause the sound of the intake. Anyways its Awesome and well worth the money...."

"The install was a bit of a pain for a 07 Ram 1500, and the fit is slighty off. The biggest problem was one of the mounting bolts sheared off. Overall its a great intake, any aftermarket part is going to give you a little grief. About 1.7 mile p/gallon increase, and a little more torque and hp. The polished version looks great installed! A sligth adjustment at the throttle body could likley snug up the overall fit. I would reccomend it!"

"Got this to replace the factory air box and inlet pipe that broke. This was a fairly easy install that took about an hour. Sounds good when rev the engine which of course negates any potential increase in mpg. Haven't had long enough to check if gas mileage improved but that's not why I got it anyway."

"I could not be more satisfied with my purchase of the AEM Brute Force Air Intake system. I just purchased a new F150 4X4 Lariat with the 5.4L V8, on the first 1000 miles it averaged only 9.8 MPG. After installing the AEM it jumped to 13.5mpg right away. The truck only has 1600 miles on it so I am confident that it will improve more over the next couple of thousand miles. To be honest I was very surprised, but also very pleased, that the cold air intake would make that much difference. Thank you."

"For all you doubters this set-up is legit. I had a Brute force intake on my truck, and just installed this one on my wifes charger. You get instant power and our mpgs went through the roof. And, the kicker is we probably drove WORSE than before just to see what it could do. The best mileage I have seen out of the charger in towm was around 16.5. Yesterday I was averaging 18.9 running premium. Keep in mind that is at 5200 feet, as we live in Wyoming. To add to the performance gains you will notice a new growl coming out of the engine compartment as well as a nice air sucking hiss on occasion when you hammer down on the throttle... Fact is, I will install an AEM Brute force intake on EVERY new vehicle I buy."
