"Install is easy, took about 5 min to do. At first glance after install the aluminum looks good under the hood. I'm eager to see how the dry flow filter will hold up, but it should filter better than K&N or other brands and let air in good. For those who don't know, hold a K&N type brand up to the light and see how much crap is passing through lol. I say AEM price for design is way better than others 300 to 400 for plastic and metal? AutoAnything is the lowest price I could find without going through a distributor myself, "hassle". GREAT Company! Will order from A.A. again. The Sound it makes when giving it gas is nice! you can hear the whistle of the vortec intake more but I recommend to reprogram the computer though to get the optimal performance. Works real well when you upgrade the injectors which is my next plan."

"The AEM Brute Force was very easy to install, less than an hour. The quality of the kit is good and the instructions were easy to follow. I like the deep bass tone when accelerating. Makes the Magnaflow mufflers sound more deeper. Slight improvements in torque and hp. Haven't notice any improvement in gas mileage. Bottom line, I like it."

"one of the easiest intakes i have ever installed. fitment was perfect and direction were clear and concise. I would highly recommend this intake if you are thinking about adding some HP to your vehicle as well as better MPG."

"Looks great under the hood. Sounds Awesome when you romp on the gas, especially with a performance exhaust! Can see 1-2 extra MPG and the extra HP is great."

"Installation was a breeze, installed in under 30 minutes. I can't say there is a noticeable difference in power but it looks great on my 2002 Chevy Tahoe. Seems to have a little more get up and go, but not seat of the pants difference (wasn't expecting it though). Can't comment on gas mileage yet as I haven't had it on long enough to notice, but I imagine probably about 1 mpg gain."

"Installed the AEM Brute Force Intake in my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. I could tell the torque increase right away. In addition, I took it for a drive that I do regularly and was happy with saving a couple dollars. I t will pay it self off ibn the next month with all the driving I do. The intake gives the engine a sexy sound. No need for aftermarket exhaust, this does it all.."

"It sounds cool, but not sure if it really helps on the gas, although I dont see how it couldnt, the air filter is huge for a 04 Tahoe Z-71.
Its so big, its a tight fit under the hood and into the compartment, but it does go in with no clearance problems.
I think its a wise investment with the price of gas at 3 bucks a gallon...."

"The unit sounds great when the throttle is floored. MPG increase is 1 mpg roughly on the hwy. Looks better than stock but had issues fitting it within the firewall. Just a hair too long."

"I was looking to replace my stock air intake system and after researching and comparing, I decided to go with AEM. Installation was easy, broken down and illustrated properly. the performance on the vehicle is noticable as soon as you pull it out the shop. Highly recommend it."
