"Kit was complete and installed in about 1.5 hrs with ease. There is a noticable improvement in throttle response. When approaching 3k rpms there is a huge response to max horsepower which is about 4.8k rpm and there is a beefy roar that is apparent from the increased air flow. There should be a little improvement in the mpg as well. This is a good quality kit which is definetly a worthwile upgrade over the stock intake."

"Easy install 30 minutes at most. I've notice a pretty big difference in my truck. Have more passing power, haven't pulled a trailer yet with the Intake installed. Gives a good sound too."

"well i just got the scion xb and its a good car and it ran good being stock and only having 103 hp. so when i put the intake it made a difference in all the power bands. and it sounds cool so im happy. thank u."

"Everything was done real well. See improved performance and fuel mileage increase. Just two problems came up in the install. The tubing path is very tight and probably needs a reduction in tube diameter and that the tube rubs on the unerside of the hood in one spot. Other than that it went in easy."

"Installed it in about 40 minutes, looks good, the instructions could have been better. You can definitely hear the difference when you punch the gas, and you can feel the horsepower. Haven't really noticed any difference in the MPGs. I recommend it to anyone."

"Can be installed w/ minimal mechanical skills. This application needs some minor tweeking, but it works. Noticeable torque increase, after first 200 city miles also experienced 1.2 mpg increase, continuing to monitor closely. Did not dyno to verify exact increases but feels as if we can be lighter on the throttle when accelerating from stop light. Made this modification after Nissan dealer advised this would not void factory warranty and will be towing utility trailer w/ total 3,000 lbs. added weight. Overall very satisfied."

"The AFE system was an easy install-less than 45 minutes. the filter is now positioned in the front of the grill on the supplied bracket. The noise level is low-much quieter than the K&N typhoon system. Price is on the high side for a plastic tube-but it works well."

"Its a great intake, it adds a little but of awesome sound to your truck. The installation instructions leave a little to be desired, but the actual installation is actually pretty easy.
It should be noted, that I did notice a little better throttle response and overall performance. Hopefully will see those MPGs climb too."

"The installation was simple and clear. Practically didn't need the instructions, as installing was as easy as removing the OEM assembly. Nice clean look. Gave my 05 an even throatier growl. Haven't had a chance to really open up my '05, but can notice the extra air when I open it up.My only question is why there is so much baseplate area that isn't utilized for air intake area."

"This was very easy to install, it looks great, and seems to have given my hemi a shot in the pants. I combined it with a cat-back exhaust and couldn't be happier. Unless I had a programmer to take advantage of more air in and more air out."

"had a k&n filter it let dust get by! 1000 miles on afe filter and no dust on the engine side of the filter. they may have been first,but not best!"
