"I was getting about 17mpg highway before installing the AFE filter. Now I am getting over 21mpg with no other changes to car..After I install a Cat-Back exhaust system, I should get even better mpg and of course more power. RCT"

"Just got the air box and filter. Already had the tube. Had problems with the alinement. Have not seen any mgp improvements yet. But the winds been blown 30 plus everyday."

"The addition of the AFE Cold air induction to my 97 Powerstroke allowed the turbo to spool up quicker plus gave an even huskier sound. Good purchase."

"its an ok box, compaired to the k&n this one is a bit more quite, and when you smash the gas, this air filter doesnt bog down, the k&n pulled so much air i would have to back of the trottle."

"Very Please with the over the Air intake! I really though after reading all of the reviews that It would be a sketchy buy as far as performance and fuel... but it was IMEDIAIATE in performance gains and fuel gains. I gained just over a extra mile per gallon and I really feel the car sucking in air and that extra push of power when you romp on the gas peddle. I actually can pace and slowly push on a mistubushi eclipse GT... which is pretty fast! Over all I am happy with the purchase and have recommended this product to all of my fellow truck/car drivers! GREAT BUY GREAT SERVICE GREAT PERFORMANCE GREAT ECOMONY"

"I installed the AFE stage 1 intake on my VW GTI, It looks great and has a good growl as well as the psh of the diverter valve, The quality is good and It looks great. The only problem Is the Heat shield and lid are made of metal, therefore It gets Hott, Hot is not good. Put I would still suggest it to other buyers as a good upgrade for a little extra horsepower and some extra noise."

"The quality of the intake and filter system is very, very good. The fit is quite good and performance did seem to improve in terms of response and mild 1/2-1.5 mpg efficiency combined with 4" MBRP single stainless exhaust from turbo back. The directions are incomplete, small and lack detail. Utilizing common sense and trial and error I did hook everything up correctly. This left me one grommet unused that I called Customer Service and they informed me was not needed for my 2003 model. That was not detailed in the directions. That said product is more important than directions."

"I have noticed a power boost and also my truck sounds great. I am not saving much gas though because i am pushing a little harder on the gas to hear it. i will recomend this product to everybody i know."

"Easy to install. After one tank of gas, I get around 2 more mpg. The idle is lower with the extra air flow. Throttle response is also improved. Over all great mod. Sticker on the truck (purchased new) said 14 to 17 mpg. I am getting between 19 and 20 mpg with 50% city and 50% highway. I am using the dry filter due to MAS warrantee. Next to get rid of the restrictive exhaust!"

"Very nice looking well put together aftermarket piece. I am impressed with the looks and quality if the materials. Only recently installed. Sure beats the old airbox in the engine compartment of the Charger SRT8. A pleasure to open the hood and see. Sounds cool as well, much throatier upon peddle depression. Not sure of gas mileage or extra power, as too new to the car. Had Mechanic install and he said the tube was kind of a tough fit, but overall well constructed pieces, and easy to put in. I would highly reccommend to anyone thinking of adding this mod."

"Great seat of the pants improvement. Great sound just like the old days when you could flip that air cleaner cover and here those secondaries kick in. After running about 40 gallons of gas so the computer could reprogram I am getting a 0.5 mpg increase around town but I havent taken it on a highway road trip yet."

"Good product overall. The instructions weren't as bad as I was expecting after reading other reviews. Install was easy. Noticeable power increase. Sounds awesome. Not much increase in gas mileage for me, about 1 mpg difference so far. Would recommend to others."

"Intstalling this afe cold air intake was manageable, it takes about 2 hours. The engine sound drastically improved especially at 4000+ rpm. Not a significant difference in pickup or fuel economy. However, I recommend this to all interested. You will not be disappointed"

"The intake looks good in the engine compartment and the sound is something wicked at WOT. I wasn't sure about the power at first but now I can feel it since the computer adjusted to the intake. Overall good intake."

"Overall the product was pretty good. The installation could be easier, need to come up with a better way to get O2 sensor into new tube. (DEFINITELY SOMETHING THEY SHOULD WORK ON) Intake tube did not match up to housing factory drilled holes. Had to drill new ones. Brought quality rating down."

"I read a bunch of reviews on this product and checked it out on various forums. Not only does it greatly improve the sound of my engine, but it really does give a little more HP. I can definitely feel it right off the line, and then at 3000 RPM as well. Excellent product!! Not sure about gas mileage yet, haven't had it long enough."
