"Very good product. Only downside was installation. Took hours to install and instructions neglected to include several valuable steps. Furthermore, after driving with the intake for 2 days I smelled a rubber burning smell and realized that one of the replacement hoses included in the kit was melting due to it's location. After reroughting the hose everything is working fine. Great horsepower and somewhat of an increase in fuel economy as well...overall good product but instructions could use some work!!"

"This was an easy install and I noticed a mid-range boost to the performance of my '02 PT Dream Cruiser. What's also nifty is a nice growl when you mash the pedal. Now I'm eager for a few more aftermarket upgrades. Fun hobby bolt on, not sure if it really helps at the pump though, but you will notice a little extra gain in hp and torque."

AFE Colc Air Intake 98 JEEP XJ

"AFE Cold Air Intake ROCKS! I had already added a Street Performance Helix throttle body spacer and gained 2+ MPG and better throttle response on my 1998 Jeep XJ with 165K. All the Off Road shops were pushing me to K&N, but my neighbor who races recommended AFE. Great Call! Read the fine print - An AFE CAI install with a throttle body spacer is more tricky on a 98 XJ - does require a heat gun - with care! Without special care you will put a dent in your hood. Performance has been awesome -more positive power curve through out the range (compared to 165K of stock)I could not give you a MPG account because I can't keep my foot out of it."

"Installation was easy. I had to relocate the windshield wiper fluid container, which was not mentioned in the directions. My jeep was produced on 10/90 perhaps the engineers missed this. Performance was noticed right away. More torque and high-end horsepower. I also installed a flow master 50 series."

"I was very impressed with the overall increase in performance gained just by installing the AFE Cold Air Intake on my ’06 325i E90/N52. The only issues was the installation, the housing and the intake tube did not go on as easily or fit as it inferred in the instructions. Would I do it again…you bet!"

"After shopping around, AFE gives you the most bang for your buck. i put a stage one cold air intake on a 2000 yukon and could instantly feel the overall performance increase, not to mention it sounds great. summary, mid range priced product with high end performance!"

"Excellent quality product. It took a call to product support to convience me that I could wiggle the heat shield in place; but once there everything fit like a charm. It certainly makes the mid range sweet spot that much sweeter. There is no significant increase in noise except when you stomp it, then who cares! And it looks so cool!"

"I installed the AFE intake on my 4.7L Dodge Ram quadcab. I noticed an increase on my gas mileage, and quicker acceleration. But the most noticable increase is felt when towing. You can feel the extra HP and torque."

"I put the AFE Air intake on my 2000 Tacoma. I noticed when I pull a trailer that there is a considerable difference in power. I bought it for the gas mileage. I think it's getting a little better. Real easy to install. Sounds pretty mean too! I'd buy it again."

"after receiving the afe stage 2 intake i started to read the instructions ,and about an hour later i took it for atest run .response was noticable right off the line , and the power to climb a 3 mile grade was quick. i topped the crest alot faster then i have in the past ."

"I received the AFE CAI from Auto Anything and had it installed in less than 30 minutes. Vehicle sounds and runs great. Engine light came on a few days after install indicatiing lean condition, but I was able to clear it with my Edge Evolution programmer."

"Wow! Whoever rated this intake as easy to install did not have a PT Cruiser, but if you have worked on a PT Cruiser before you know that nothing is easy to install on a PT Cruiser. Instalation aside, I love the performance! My car has no hesitation anymore, and the sound is not as anoying as my last intake system, it is much more low pitch."
