"Installation was easy. I had to relocate the windshield wiper fluid container, which was not mentioned in the directions. My jeep was produced on 10/90 perhaps the engineers missed this. Performance was noticed right away. More torque and high-end horsepower. I also installed a flow master 50 series."

"I was very impressed with the overall increase in performance gained just by installing the AFE Cold Air Intake on my ’06 325i E90/N52. The only issues was the installation, the housing and the intake tube did not go on as easily or fit as it inferred in the instructions. Would I do it again…you bet!"

"After shopping around, AFE gives you the most bang for your buck. i put a stage one cold air intake on a 2000 yukon and could instantly feel the overall performance increase, not to mention it sounds great. summary, mid range priced product with high end performance!"

"Excellent quality product. It took a call to product support to convience me that I could wiggle the heat shield in place; but once there everything fit like a charm. It certainly makes the mid range sweet spot that much sweeter. There is no significant increase in noise except when you stomp it, then who cares! And it looks so cool!"

"I installed the AFE intake on my 4.7L Dodge Ram quadcab. I noticed an increase on my gas mileage, and quicker acceleration. But the most noticable increase is felt when towing. You can feel the extra HP and torque."

"I put the AFE Air intake on my 2000 Tacoma. I noticed when I pull a trailer that there is a considerable difference in power. I bought it for the gas mileage. I think it's getting a little better. Real easy to install. Sounds pretty mean too! I'd buy it again."

"after receiving the afe stage 2 intake i started to read the instructions ,and about an hour later i took it for atest run .response was noticable right off the line , and the power to climb a 3 mile grade was quick. i topped the crest alot faster then i have in the past ."

"I placed the order on Sunday and had the product on Thursday. It took 15 minutes to install. It has made a tremendous difference in acceleration. I also got 1.5 mph better on the first tank. Great product at a great price."

"I received the AFE CAI from Auto Anything and had it installed in less than 30 minutes. Vehicle sounds and runs great. Engine light came on a few days after install indicatiing lean condition, but I was able to clear it with my Edge Evolution programmer."

"Wow! Whoever rated this intake as easy to install did not have a PT Cruiser, but if you have worked on a PT Cruiser before you know that nothing is easy to install on a PT Cruiser. Instalation aside, I love the performance! My car has no hesitation anymore, and the sound is not as anoying as my last intake system, it is much more low pitch."

"gave my engine not only more power but also gave it a scream under the hood. however after about 3 weeks the check engine light came on for running to lean, just need a chip to fix that problem."

"Based on my short commute home, the AFE Stage 1 does definitely sound meaner than stock and with a bit of more get up and go. The install is really easy with the right tools. The instructions are spot on so no worries there. Autoanything.com is great! Came in time for my wife's (Well really our Xmas present). If you are on the fence, go ahead and go for it, you won't regret it!"

"Immediate improvement (on an already powerful truck!!) once I added the AFE intake. Adding the AFE intake resulted in a smooth increase in power across the powerband from take-off to full throttle. Installation couldn't have been easier. It took me less than 45 minutes at night in front of my garage. Very clear instructions. My truck cruises without a struggle at 70-75 mph pulling 8000lbs plus without kicking out of cruise control on any inclines and passes with ease. I recommend it to all powerstrokers (6.0 or 7.3) along with exhaust upgrades and chips. Turbo sounds great spooling up and the extra bass in the exhaust is a definite head turner. It will cause the engine light to come on however. Other than that, I am very pleased. This was money well spent!!"

"I received my Stage 1 and put it in immediately.. It was so simple I thought I had done it wrong..I filled the tank before installing and the 1st 300 miles was a mix of 75% towing (9000# TT) and 25% around town.I was a little disappointed in that I got exactly the same mileage from the last trip to the same place.Will just have to wait and see if it improves..There seemed to be a little improvement in power though.."
