"This intake made a huge difference in the performance of my truck. I have gained 2mpg and the truck is much more responsive. It also amplifies the sound of the turbo. It is a great system."

"This intake rocks! AFE included everything I needed as well as great instructions. I definately notice an increase in toque in the 2800 - 3700 RPM range. The best part about this intake is the SOUND! It really make the Hemi growl. Get rush shipping because you want this intake, fast!"

"Louder! Some increased throttle response. Better gas mileage on the interstate by 1-2mpg. Definitely made my flowmaster sound better. Would recomend to other tacoma owners."

"The performance I get from this product is outstanding. I felt the difference instantly. However, I get a suction sound from time to time that seems happens during idling, once I press the gas pedal slightly it goes away. I will go over all my connections again and hope the sound goes away. But all in all, I'm very impressed with this product."

"I got my filter fast. The installation was as easy as described in the instruction sheet, it added quite a bit of throttle response and a nice sound. I think I will notice better fuel consumption when if I can keep my foot out of it."

"Great performance difference on my F150. Also sounds great. It did a little for my gas milage too, if i could keep my foot off the gas. Did the install in the front yard at 1130pm with no problems. also had a really quick delivery."

"I am very satisfied with the performance output from this system. Most of all it helps me keep my air filter cleaner with the box like housing. I would highly recommend this to anyone. It actually feels better than the K&N and I did have the k&N application on my truck before as well."

Is AFE worth the cost?

"I installed the AFE system in about an hour. The sound is beefy and powerful, but not over the top. The turbo spools up a little faster. A noticeable increase in power. The big question is it worth the money? The fuel milage I got in the first 1000 miles was an average 1 mpg improvement. That might not sound like much but you also get the extra power and sound. Plus your then ready for your next upgrade. I then tried my Superchip in the econo mode and now my 6.0 PowerStroke is off the chain. The AFE really made the biggest improvement when I added back in my Superchip."

"awesome sound. easy to install.i put it in in about a half hour. takeoff power is much better and more responsive. not sure about gas mileage yet but im hopeful. was missing a couple parts when i got it but it was straightened out without much problem. thanks auto anything."

"Significently less expensive than a supercharger,and more practicle than nitrous.(for a daily driver vehicle)This cold air intake was by far the best improvement I have had the pleasure of adding to my vehicle. First, I started with a proformance chip, then your stage two intake system, and then, topped it off with a Gibson exhaust. Wow! my Toyota Tacoma V-6 is now putting out well over 300HP and still gets 18MPH! Thank You AFE! Greg from NC."

"I have had two different 7.3L powerstrokes with this mod and Both showed marked improvement. Expect some turbo "shimmy" on 2000 models but my newer 2001 does not seem to have that problem. I had the 2000 with this mod on it for about two years and never had turbo problems at all!"
