"I installed the new filter, and it took me back to my teen age years, where we turned the air filter cover of dad's car over to let the engine breath! A rush of power! Don't tell dad I raced his Cadi!"

"I tow a fifth wheel and needed beter fuel milage. I now get 1 to 2 miles per gallon better. Time to instal was only ten minutes."

"This intake is definately good to go. I was told by the customer support for AFE that is this the most labor intensive intake that they offer. You litterally get about 5 inches of workspace. I must reccomend that you adjust the breather element instead of just attaching it to the air pump as they direct you to do, I had some water get into the filter. Other than that the product and performance is great. You will now be able to hear our turbo spool up louder which is awesome!"

"Since my new FJ was getting only 15mpg, my friend recommended getting an intake. After much shopping, yours was the product most recommended by customers. It was a little awkward to install (my boyfriend's opinion) but I immediately noticed more power and a throatier sound. After going through several tanks of gas, I'm getting about 3-4 more mpg. Can't complain about that!"

"Great product, worth every penny. 2-3 mpg increase overall city, highway and towing. Very noticeable increase in power that makes towing my bass boat seamless. Motors up any highway incline without having to drop down into low gear with increased gas mileage."

"Great product, however, the intake tube coming off engine is to close to the fan! I had to grind the tube face down in order to clear it and Im still only a quarter inch at most, away from the fan. Something Ill have to keep an eye and ear on constanty. Power and sound gains are quite amazing, cant tell yet if my mpg is any better though. I would recomend this intake over any oter!"

"Hmmm...not bad, for you to actually feel the extra power you got to really gun it(at least for me more than 4k rpms). Then again the whole point was for it to save me a few mpg's on the tank. Overall no complaint the installation was easy I thought it would be tough like the INGEN i installed on my maxima back then, but this was easy. worth the price you pay for i stick with this then an ingen. the intake is lighter than ingen my opinon. For Racing though hell YEAH you can feel it, but with gas now hmmm....."

"i highly recommend you to get this one.... it does meet lots of my expectations because i can get lots of power out of the engine and it sounds nice over the flowmaster system. Plus, it is so cheap, who could beat this price! I can get 20 to 24 mpg on highway going 65 to 75 mph. Before i get worse mpg going faster on highway, 14 mpg! Trust me you should get it and if you dont believe then suit yourself. oh the other thing, i drive a big gas guzzling dodge ram 1500 hemi. it really does save gas and i could go empty the tank in 1 and half week or longer if i go easy. Great work, aFe!"

"I found the installation quite simple and thourough. It took about twenty minutes to install (including removing the factory stock setup) and included a spot for the factory cold air sensor. I have noticed a nice jump in acceloration, as well as mileage. Exhaust is up next and I can't wait to see the combined effects!"

"I installed the AFE cool air intake on my recently purchased 2008 328I. The nice little performance sound was a plus but a 1200 mile round trip to Flordia really showed the benefits. I averaged 32 mpg at 79 miles per hour. Good investment."

"The only reason that I gave a lower score was installation. There is a flaw where the air box goes with my year and a light relay that is in the way. I just moved thre relay til I can alter the air box. Great product though. Awesome sound!! About 30 more miles to the tank!! Glad I got it!!"

"Love the new AFE air filter for our 2007 Ford motorhome!
It breathes a whole lot better now!
Installation was good but had to modify the intake tube and move some electrical stuff on the motorhome to fit it all but other than that it was great!"

"Ripped out the old and put the new one in, took about 30 minutes. Absolutely wonderful. I couldn't be more pleased. Getting 2 mpg more, increased speed and power off the line. For being a sealed unit, it sounds amazing. Great product, well worth the money!!"

"The install took about 45 min. Instructions that came with it were pretty easy to follow. As soon as I put in the intake I took it out and there was a definite improvement in the throttle response. Also, when the rpms get to about 3k, you can hear the intake sucking air in the cab very impressive. I have not been able to average out my mpgs over more than 1 tank, but there seems to be a significant improvement."

"The AFE cold air intake was easy to install if you are mechanically inclined. If not, you might have a little trouble as directions are not great. Adequate, but not great. The horsepower gain was immediate, as well as the throttle response. Torque and mileage have improved too. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase."

"The shield where it mounts on the radiator, I had to grind new notches for the radiator bolts to clear .The holes were off up and down where the heat shield mounted to the radiator .The heat shield needs some work. The picture shows the PVC valve pointing to the right side. The valve will only point to the left side. The hose that mounted to the pvc valve was to short. The product once modified was excellent Good hp improvement we’ll have to see about the mileage . Timm"

"I have an 08 Tacoma and wanted a little extra boost in power. The AFE delivered! Sounds great and added a noticable power change. Not sure on the MPG's yet. Only complaint is the poor installation instructions. Still only took around an hour to install. Other than that no complaints."
