Take a good look at any dinky paper air filter, and you’ll realize that Fram is a sham. Those stock filters are basically thrown together with too many sheets of college-ruled notebook paper, which puts a choke hold on your motor. If you care about performance and fuel efficiency, then toss that flimsy factory filter in the trash and pop in a K&N Universal Round Air Filter.
Once you install a K&N Universal Round Air Filter onto your carbureted motor, you’ll be rewarded with immediate bumps in horsepower and better MPGs. That’s because the unique pleaded cotton gauze design of your K&N air filter allows energy-rich oxygen to blow through nearly unrestricted. Of course, the oiled cotton still strips out dirt, dust and impurities, ensuring that your motor eats only the cleanest air.
Best of all, your new K&N Universal Round Air Filter will pay for itself. Along with the improved gas mileage, you’ll never need to buy another air filter. You can simply clean and re-oil your K&N Universal Round Air Filter to bring it back to life. And, it’s backed by K&N’s Million Mile Limited Warranty.

The first thing I do to any new vehicle is put a K&N filter in it. But in this case I did some engine upgrades to my 66 Chevrolet Pickup and added to K&N round filter. Sounds great, looks great and was easy to install.

I was looking for a good air flow and permanent washable airfilter, and this is one of a few that provide the function. It's about 3 times the cost of the paper filter, but should last for a while with proper washing and re-oil.

I'm a firm believer in K&N; any company that offers a reuseable part that outperforms its competition and is comparable in price is a company I will support any way I can. The filter itself flows more than my 750 cfm carburetor, so even dirty it is better than most new filters.

I've been using K&N Air Filters for years, in my cars and on my motorcycles -- it adds a slight improvement to performance, and every little bit helps. The best price was found here on AutoAnything w/ free shipping to boot.
