Got the AEM Brute Force intake for a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7L Hemi. Was impressed to see how much time was taken in the design of the product to make it appear factory and it really went together well! Also to my surprise it came with a throttle body spacer. I would have loved to have given it a 5 star quality rating but mine came with a quarter sized dent in the body of the tube and the end where the filter goes was crushed in about an inch. Looks like they packaged it that way too.

Its given my truck another 13hp but knocked my mpg down by by about a mile a gallon. Overall if your looking for a good intake thats sounds good and gives a good amount of power for a cheaper price id suggest this one.

Worth It

Its worth the cost in my opinion. I'm getting about 1/2mpg -1mpg better. It feels like there is more bottom end power there and it compliments my magnaflow stainless exhaust very well. Had it installed in one hour. Over all pretty happy with it.

I bought this intake for my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with a HEMI. The instructions were easy to follow and the installation was a breeze (my 5 year old son helped me). Just the looks of this intake make you think that something cool is going to happen when you push on the skinny pedal... and that's exactly what happened. I cannot believe the sound this thing makes when you push on the gas. It sounds like I changed out the muffler and put on duals, but not annoying because I do not like loud noise in the cab of my truck. The system is quiet until you get up into the 3-4,000 RPM range and then you just want to see what 5-6,000 RPM sound like, so you do! I have not had a chance to figure out any potential mileage gains, but I expect between 1 & 2 MPG. I am also putting on a free flow muffler for a nice low rumble from the exhaust. Overall, a great product with a lifetime warranty.

I've had the cold air intake on for a little over a month. Instulation was a breeze the directions didn't miss a thing. The first thing I noticed was that my truck sounded a little quieter i also have a cat back exaust. When driving it definantly feels like it has more power. But the main reason i got it was for the fuel milage. At 65 the milage average i see is between 17mpg and 19mpg. At 70 to 75 I average 15.5mpg to 16.8mpg. So I have seen about a 2mpg jump over stock. Overall I am verry pleased with the intake, for power and millage increases.
