This intake is great. In everyday driving it adds a noticeable power increase. Over 3000 rpm it really comes alive and the growl is mean. I would've bought it for the sound alone. InstallAtion is simple and I did it in less than half an hour. Gret buy all in all.

Installed easy looks great except for a small dent in tube.Probably happened during shipping. Be careful when installing, I had a small piece of rubber trim from the air filter get sucked into my intake. Check for loose pieces of rubber on the filter.

I'm very happy with my AEM Brute Force Air Intake. Installation was simple and easy. Noticeable performance enhancement and the sound is cool. I just today added the Hypertech tune and it's wild!

looks great, sounds great, and can for sure tell it is there...meaning yes you can feel the proformance with it installed. took less then 45mins to put it in(first time doing so)if you are putting it in a nissan frontier only problem you may have is one bolt on the old air box on the bottom .. dont waste your time un-doing it just pull it out there is a rubber bushing around it so you wont break anything and you can push it back in place for safe keeping of the old box... could be cheaper but is what it is still love it

Overall this was a well made piece. Everything fit together very well and the entire system was installed in 45 minutes. The good: High end torgue (3,000RPM and up) substantially improved. Increased noise of the vehicle. More good news: Unlike some other reviewers, I had no idle problems the truck. I also never saw a check engine light come on. Within 20 miles the ECM had adjusted itself to the new airflow and I had no issues. The bad: The noise was not a good tone. The truck sounded like a boat motor after install. Seriously, by the time I hit 3,000 RPMs I thought I was driving a 2 stroke engine. Low end torque was substantially decreased. This is a common problem with open CAIs but it was way too much of a drop for me. I'm glad the HP difference existed at 3,000 RPMs but most driving is done at around 2,000. I ended up taking it off within 3 days and selling it (return policy does not include installed items).

One of the best modifications I have done so far. Paired with my cat back aftermarket exhaust...this thing rocks! Sounds amazing and much smoother power delivery. I am very happy and recommend it whole heartily. Also, very easy install.

I save 5 stars for the ultimate, but this is a very nice intake. Fit and finish was very high quality. The intake is LOUD, louder than others I've had in the past.
