I was having trouble deciding between one of those short air intakes with the cone filter or a K&N air filter. I think I made the right choice going with the K&N. I feel more throttle response and it make a nice hissing sound when I hit the gas.

Improve torque, horsepower and gas mileage noticeably, around 3% or better. Fits right into factory airbox. Should come as standard equipment on every car.

I am new to this filter and so I am trying it out to see the differences between this and the regular filters. If this filter can do (better hp and better gas mileage) it would be a great filter.

Fit, more pressure needed to close the airbox (as described in the instructions). Performance, feels livelier, runs smoother. Mileage, about the same (31 mpg highway), a bit of a disappointment.

Well when my 1994 Toyota Camry V6 XLE was stock it had decent power. But Then along came the K&N Air Filter and I have noticed a "BIG" difference In accelaration, and passing power I have the sticker on the trunk lid of my car and 99.9% of the people on the road and have rarely tryed to mess with me since the instellation of the filter I Have respect from everybody even from Mustangs V6's, and GT's 1999-2004 V6 2005's and even Camero's V6's Z28's and famous SS

I got this for my 95 Toyota Avalon. It works great and does seem to improve the HP at high RPM. It does worsen the mpg by 1 (from 23 to 22 mpg) but the extra HP is good.

After the filter was placed in the filter box, it was very difficult to seal due to an protruding lip that needed to be compressed. Instead of all four clips that had to be used, I was only able to use two of the clips to seal the box. Overall, it's a good product, but the seal design should allow for the same ease of installation as the stock filters.
