Excellent fit, air box for M3 is somewhat difficult to hold up as the install happens, but nothing too crazy. Always loved k&n.. Super high quality stuff.

On all my cars, when the OEM needs replacing I use K&N filters. Sure you spend a bit more, may have to slightly modify (2003 M3 had to put a provided gasket), and clean it (it takes plenty abuse to seriously clean these) but this will be the last you'll ever buy. Performance is also improved!

I really like this filter. After replacing my old one, I instantly felt the car accelerate quicker and drive much better. I defiantly like this product alot.

I installed the product, did not really see an improvement in average MPG over a 2 week period but I did notice a slight power increase, well worth it!

I've used K&N air filters in several vehicles in the past, most recently in my BMW. Filter is very nicely made, installation is easy enough, and it fits perfectly (BMW uses included foam gasket for air box cover). Don't expect miraculous increases in power, mileage, etc. The economics do it for me: A K&N pays for itself after it's outlasted 2 or 3 disposable filters, and only seems to need cleaning/re-oiling in our conditions (paved road use) every 50k miles or so.

I always use K&N Air Filters! They increase horsepower and improve gas mileage, which is nice. They are a lifetime filter if you clean them every few years, so they are cheaper in that respect. And using K&Ns reduces the amount of air filter trash in landfills. Can't go wrong, IMO!

I have used K&N on race and street cars for years, great value and performance. Great price and service through AutoAnything.

I've been using K&N's on my performance cars since 1984. I've found them all to be of high quality and they have added noticable power. I had one in my 96 Taurus SHO deteriorate at the rubber edges, after over ten years of service. k&N replaced it for free. Can't beat that. All three of my present cars have them installed. They are a good, reliable product with a real lifetime warranty.
